Peter, because of Strange's warning, became curious: "Why do you say that? What exactly is in the Quantum Realm? Is the Quantum Realm even a place?"
He was genuinely curious.
He'd wanted to enter the Quantum Realm before, to see if it was similar to his glowing web.
But later, he discovered in the B-Class multiverse that the glowing web and the web were similar existences.
But this still didn't diminish his interest in the Quantum Realm.
It should be said that as a student of quantum physics, it was hard to resist the allure of the Quantum Realm.
However, Strange warned him with utmost seriousness: "Don't, think, about the Quantum Realm! Never, ever!"
"Oh…" Peter nodded slightly, then suddenly remembered, "That's bad!"
"What's wrong?" Strange asked.
Peter said, "Not long ago, when I went to find Scott, I met the first-generation Ant-Man, Dr. Hank Pym. He said he wanted to open the Quantum Realm to find his wife, Janet, who has been missing for many years!"
As he said this, Peter suddenly felt his Spider-Sense jump violently.
This time, the Spider-Sense warning was very obvious! Something bad was happening, and it was related to the Quantum Realm!
Strange was shocked when he heard this and couldn't bother to say anything else. He grabbed Peter and started walking out.
"Let's go stop them!"
"Right," Strange suddenly stopped when he was about to reach the door.
Fortunately, Peter reacted quickly and didn't crash into Strange.
Otherwise, with the sorcerer's frail body, Peter might have knocked him half-paralyzed.
Ahem, of course, that was a joke.
Even if he were strong, he couldn't possibly maintain an offensive stance all the time, right?
Strange turned his head and said, "Don't mention what we just talked about once we're back in our world. Don't tell anyone. We can just go back and form the Super Avengers."
Peter nodded, "Understood."
Apparently, even though the Time Variance Authority had collapsed, things like the Sacred Timeline might still be a taboo topic in the universe, potentially leading to bad consequences, which was why Strange was so cautious.
In that case, Peter certainly wouldn't poke the bear.
He's not a character from a horror movie, after all.
In many science fiction, fantasy, and other works with horror or mysterious elements, there's often a plot where the protagonist or a supporting character, out of curiosity, breaks a seal and releases a monster, leading to bad consequences.
Hmm... From a viewer's perspective, it's necessary for the plot, but from the characters' point of view, it's just idiotic.
For example, in The Cabin in the Woods, one of the protagonists read a spell in the basement, releasing a family of zombies who nearly gave them a "family pack."
And in Prometheus, the prequel to Alien, someone's curiosity led them to touch something on the ground, resulting in facehuggers and the team's demise.
Peter certainly didn't want something similar to happen in his world.
The "Sacred Timeline" might be a trigger.
Besides, there's also Dr. Pym's research on the Quantum Realm!
After warning Peter, Strange opened the door and led him away.
Stepping outside, Peter realized it was actually a place similar to a basement, probably a basement of the Sanctum Sanctorum.
Anyway, he hadn't been here before.
Strange didn't bother to introduce it to Peter, as if there were many similar doors in the Sanctum Sanctorum.
Peter wasn't the Sorcerer Supreme, so there was no need to tell him these things.
Strange stood still for a moment, probably looking for Dr. Pym's location.
Then, he directly opened a portal.
Peter followed him in, and on the other side were Hank Pym and his daughter, Hope van Dyne.
However, when Peter and Strange arrived, they were all tied to chairs, along with Scott.
And standing opposite them were Dr. Foster and Ghost (Ava), who had been subdued by Peter.
"Huh? What's going on? Are you guys having some kind of weird party?" Peter asked, puzzled.
Dr. Foster was also taken aback by Peter's sudden appearance. "Mr. Spider-Man, how did you get here? But you're just in time! My research has entered a new phase, and we'll see the results soon!"
"Quantum Realm research, right? No, I need you to stop that research for now," Peter said, shaking his head and stopping him.
"Stop? Why?" Dr. Foster's expression changed.
Ghost (Ava) on the side was even more agitated. Hearing this, she suddenly shouted, "Are you going to stop me too? No, I absolutely won't let you stop me!"
"Uh, Strange, help me control her. Let me ask these old friends what's going on first," Peter walked towards Scott and the others.
On the other side, Ghost (Ava) immediately entered Ghost Mode, flashing and rushing towards Peter.
Theoretically, her quantum-displaced Ghost Mode is really invincible, almost immune to all physical damage.
However, she didn't know that in this world, there really was a type of person who could easily restrain her.
That was a mage!
Strange didn't even say much.
He just reached out and waved his hand.
Magic power flashed across his hand.
Then, a magic whip appeared out of thin air, wrapped around an empty space, and directly captured Ghost (Ava), who had entered her ghost state.
Thud, she fell to the ground.
Dr. Foster was shocked and quickly ran to his adopted daughter's side.
He whispered comforting words to his adopted daughter, preparing to wait and see. He believed Peter would give him an explanation.
After all, the rapid progress of his research was all thanks to the large sum of money Peter had invested in it.
Now, Peter was suddenly saying he wouldn't continue, which meant the tens of millions of dollars invested earlier would all go down the drain.
For an investor and entrepreneur, this was obviously a very bad deal.
Meanwhile, Peter had already untied the ropes binding Scott and the others.
"What's going on? Why did you get into a conflict with them?" Peter asked, puzzled.
Scott then inquired, "Do you know them? And what was that you guys used just now? Whoosh—it's so cool."
"That's the Magic of the great Sorcerer Supreme," Peter winked frantically at Scott, "Pretty amazing, right?"
He didn't want Strange to know he was using the Magic he learned from him everywhere.
"Oh!" Scott made an exaggerated surprised expression, as if he could fit an egg in his mouth. "So that's Magic! Real Magic! Oh my God!"
Peter: .Isn't that a bit over the top, bro?
