Dawn never broke. It shattered.
Explosions ripped through Spiral Island's outer defenses. Alarms screamed. The ocean boiled with the arrival of warships and gunfire.
Inside the war chamber, Siddik stood still, staring at the sea of enemy forces.
Rafiq (rushing in):
"They've come. HUNTERS, UN Special Forces. It's all-out war."
Siddik (quietly):
"So be it. Today, we bury the idea that peace comes without blood."
He turned to his generals.
Siddik:
"Unleash hell. Show them why they feared us and protect the innocents."
The war begins….
The battle erupted like a nightmare. Tanks rolled across the beach. Choppers lit up the sky. HUNTERS led the charge.
Zara and Nafisa held the flanks. Fakhrul and Hridoy led the frontline. Rasel cut through enemy lines like a phantom.
Explosions lit the battlefield where Rasel met Tayeb head-on.
Rasel (furious):
"You were a leader once. A hero. Now you follow a dictator?"
Tayeb (quietly):
"No, I follow the only man who's brave enough to do what's right when the world turns away."
Their weapons clashed, energy lighting the night. Rasel screamed:
Rasel:
"You'll fall with him, Tayeb!"
Tayeb:
"Then I fall for purpose. Can you say the same?"
Rasel:
"I can't believe, you traded you soul for his crown. Why, brother?"
Tayeb:
"I traded lies for purpose. I saw fire in his vision–and I chose to follow it."
Rasel:
"You chose to burn the world."
Tayeb:
"Better to burn it that let it rot."
Their blades clashed like thunder, neither holding back.
Fakhrul and Hridoy stormed into the central battlefield, weapons drawn.
Hridoy (shouting):
"We came to stop you, Siddik. Not to kill you… but don't test that mercy."
Siddik (darkly amused):
"Then why do you come with guns and rage? Mercy is the shield of cowards."
Fakhrul (stepping forward):
"Don't make us do this, Siddik."
Siddik (eyes narrowed):
"I'm not making you do anything. You came to stop me. All I'm doing… is proving why you can't."
Fakhrul and Hridoy attack Siddik together. Siddik blocked Fakhrul's blade and gave Hridoy a blast from his gauntlet.
Fakhrul:
"You left humanity behind the day you chose control over compassion."
Siddik:
"No… I left fantasy behind the day I saw it would never save us."
Hridoy (angrily):
"You were our leader, Siddik. You were our brother. How did we come to this?"
Siddik:
"Because brothers sometimes must choose different paths to save the same home."
Hridoy rushed at him – blades flying. Siddik fought back with calculated grace.
Then – one strike. Hridoy fell, unconscious.
Fakhrul (screaming):
"HRIDOY!"
The ground trembled as Fakhrul attacked in rage. Siddik blocked, but before he could land a counter, Rasel appeared – blade flashing.
A sudden crack – Siddik's gauntlet sparked and cracked.
Snipers zeroed in. All target on Siddik and his generals. A bullet was coming to Siddik but John jumped.
The bullet pierced John's chest. Rafiq shoot the sniper with his rifle. Siddik caught John – burning, broken.
John (whisper):
"Don't waste your life, Sir. Make it worth."
He died in Siddik's arms.
Silence.
Then – Siddik dropped his broken gauntlet. Drew his saber. And snapped.
With no tech. No armor. Just blade and fury – Siddik tore into the invading army.
A dozen fell. Then a dozen more.
Heads rolled. Screams echoed.
He moved like shadow and thunder, his eyes glowing with primal wrath. His saber carved through metal like silk. Blood sprayed the wall. Bones cracked. Men ran.
UN commander (panicking):
"He's not human – FALL BACK!"
Rasel tried to charge, sword raised.
Zara (grabbing his arm):
"No, Rasel. Not now!"
Fakhrul (furious):
"This isn't over, Siddik!"
Zara:
"RETREAT! Now!"
They pulled back – leaving Hridoy behind.
Fakhrul:
"Where's Hridoy? He's still there! HRIDOY IS STILL THERE!"
Fakhrul's scream echoed in the retreat.
At the medical wing, Siddik stood over Hridoy's unconscious body.
Rafiq:
"What now, Siddik? What should we do with him?"
Siddik (coldly):
"Heal him. Let him see what we've become… and what they left behind. If he wants to go back after he recovers, send him back. No questions asked."
Siddik (after a moment of silence, staring at the burning horizon):
"They took John from me. Now I'll take their comfort. HUNTERS think they can easily win the force. They don't know my past. They don't know who I am and what I can do. Fine, I will show them."
Siddik ordered Rafiq to prepare for a conference and take John's body to give him the Spiral honor.
