Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The First Strike

The world shifted overnight.

Tokyo. Beijing. Delhi. Moscow. New York.

The skies darkened as Spiral forces stormed each capital. People fled their homes in terror. Sirens echoed through the streets. Air defense systems tried to retaliate–but Spiral had prepared. They knew every blind spot.

Tokyo, Japan

The sky over Tokyo turned dark with Spiral warships hovering like beasts. Daniel, donned in a basic Spiral combat suit, led a specialized unit through the city. Drones buzzed above, unleashing pulse blasts that knocked out surveillance and military communication. Japan's Self Defense Force countered, tanks and helicopters flooding the streets. Civilians were evacuated in a frenzy as Daniel gave a grim order: "Cripple, don't destroy." His forces disabled infrastructure but avoided mass casualties. In the end, Japan's Prime Minister, cornered and desperate, signed the 'One accord'.

Beijing, China

Harry stormed Beijing with raw force. A specialist in shock-and-awe warfare, he paralyzed China's cyber grid. Skyscrapers flickered out, and martial law was declared. The People's Liberation Army engaged, fierce and coordinated–but unprepared for Spiral precision. Within hours, bridges were down, comms blacked, and panic widespread. In a closed room, the Chinese President, face drenched in sweat, signed the Accord with trembling hands.

Delhi, India

Tayeb's attack was methodical. He flew low over Delhi, surveying weak points. Using non-lethal disabling tech, his army launched a raid on central military installations, halting resistance within hours. Crowds ran, fires blazed in the distance, yet Tayeb avoided unnecessary harm. The Indian President, seeing people fall to chaos and fearing civil breakdown, signed the Accord. Tayeb looked at the torn streets and whispered, "I wish there was another way."

Moscow, Russia

Rafi's entry into Moscow was cold and clean. Spiral airships glided silently above, dropping electromagnetic disruptors. Russian jets scrambled, missiles fired, but Spiral's superior countermeasures neutralized them. Rafi, with calm intellect, captured a strategic military hub. But unlike others, Russia's President didn't sign immediately. "We want a chat with Mr. Siddik before bending knee," he declared.

New York, USA

John led the attack on the U.S., but the resistance was stronger. F-35 jets and Iron Dome defenses slowed Spiral's advance. John's army took over key communication centers but faced massive civilian backlash. U.S. President, known for resolve, demanded a call with Siddik: "This isn't war. This is madness."

Siddik's Response

In a cold, tense video call, Siddik listens as both presidents ask for time.

Siddik's reply: "Three days. Choose peace or witness extinction."

He cuts the call.

Spiral Island, War Room

One by one, the generals returned. Bloodstained, weary, victorious.

Siddik stood tall in the war room. Rafiq handed him reports. He looks once at the report and return to Rafiq.

Siddik turned to his generals, opening a sealed chamber. Inside were six suits, sleek and powered, each with a unique badge.

"From now on, you are not just warriors. You are Spiral's Generals. Protect the vision. Enforce the Accord. From today, you'll get a badge on completing a mission."

He handed each of them their suit, symbol of command and burden.

The Spiral Island celebrates – but beneath it, preparation for Plan C quietly escalates.

Later, Tayeb goes to Siddik's office to meet Siddik privately. He asks Siddik to come in. Siddik welcomes him with a smile and offers him a seat. Siddik turns off his laptop. Tayeb questions Siddik about the rising civilian deaths. Siddik calmly replies:

"You know what, Tayeb? People died in the past for greed, for power, for nothing. This time… if they die, they die for a purpose. To fix the world. Not everyone sees it – but I do. I'll carry this burden, even if I become the villain."

"But, Siddik… still are we doing the right? We are killing people, children."

Siddik stands up from his chair and takes a seat beside Tayeb. "I've seen worse. I've seen people die begging for mercy. Children shot in riots. Civilians burned in revolutions. All for nothing. The old world died long ago. We're just breaking the illusion. If people die now, they die for something. Peace is not born from comfort. It's carved from chaos."

Tayeb didn't respond. He left the chamber in silence, but inside… a seed of loyalty to Siddik's vision had begun to grow.

Global Response – UN Headquarters:

President James Smith slammed his hand on the conference table. "We've waited long enough." He turned to his aides. "Bring me the HUNTERS." They contact with Fakhrul and call them to UN headquarters.

1 day later, Fakhrul, Zara, Hridoy, Rasel, Nafisa all come to meet UN President James Smith.

"The world still has hope. You are it. Siddik must be stopped," Smith said. Zara stepped forward. "Then we fight for it." "Yes, we stop him… even if he's one of us." Fakhrul said grimly. "We were created to fight the end. This… is that time," Hridoy calmly said. "We'll finish his power, break him and end him. This is our goal. What he did, is not forgivable," Rasel barked. Nafisa didn't say a word, just thinking about Siddik. They begin planning their counter-strike, marking the beginning of the true resistance.

The UN base glows red as Siddik's satellite drones detect the HUNTERS' assembly. Siddik stares at the screen and mutters: "So… they've finally made their move." He turns to Rafiq. "Prepare for battle. In past, they've seen fear. But this time, I will show them ghosts. Make them alive."
