The next day I woke up at 6 a.m. My meeting with the little devil was at 8:30, but first I had to prepare and think about the lesson I was going to teach. After thinking for an hour, I decided that the lesson I would teach today would be ethics. I began to create exercise sheets on ethics. I created a total of 10 exercise sheets. After that, I left my dorm and headed toward Block S.
I had to climb 100 steps because Block S is on the fifth floor. If I were in good shape, it would have been easy, but since I have aftereffects, I had to take a break. When I finally reached the fifth floor, my whole body was covered in sweat. Suddenly, a guard stopped me and said: « Only special guards or the director are allowed to enter Block S, and you are a normal guard. » Me: « I have permission from the director. » The guard ignored me and acted as if I wasn't there. That annoyed me, and I decided to contact Ishiro. Ishiro answered the call and asked: « Why are you calling me? You're supposed to be with Kishima! » Me: « It's not my fault; a guard is preventing me from accessing Block S. » Ishiro: « Give him the phone. » I obeyed his request. After a short discussion with Ishiro, the guard let me enter.
Block S is really small compared to the other blocks. It only has 6 cells, but even though it is small, it's the block with the most cameras. In total, the block has 20 cameras. After noticing that, I headed toward the little devil's cell. I opened his cell with uncertainty and fear. When I opened it, I saw an angel in front of my eyes. He was even more beautiful than in the photo, with magnetic blue eyes. Suddenly, he gave me a cute and innocent smile. Wow, his smile is amazing, but I have to focus on the mission. Me: « Nice to meet you, my name is Taro Fuguoo, and I will be your tutor for one week. » Kishima replied in a soft and angelic voice: « So if I understand correctly, you are my teacher, Fuguoo-san. » His voice was so soft and pleasant to listen to. How could an angel like him end up in prison?
After the introductions, I decided to start the lesson. For two hours, the lesson went well. He was polite and answered the questions, etc. But when the lesson moved on to the subject of what is evil, the atmosphere became heavy and uncomfortable. Suddenly, Kishima asked: « Does our society punish all crimes? » Me: « That's a strange question. Of course our society punishes all crimes. » Kishima smiled, but it was no longer the cute smile from earlier. His smile was contemptuous and cold. It was more terrifying than Ishiro's smile. It sent chills down my spine, and instinctively I took a few steps back. Seeing that, Kishima said: « Don't worry, I'm not planning to kill you. It's just a question. So please answer. » I tried to calm myself and replied: « My answer is yes. Our society punishes all crimes. » Kishima: « Oh really, are you sure? » I nodded in approval. Kishima started to laugh and said: « Your answer is wrong, and I'll tell you why. Harassment is technically a crime and it is from this that the majority of suicides originate; the police don't care and do nothing. » He wasn't wrong on that point. Me: « Okay, you have a point, but that's the only crime that isn't punished. » Kishima moved his left index finger from side to side to show his disagreement and said: « You forgot about rape. » Me, in a surprised tone: « What are you talking about? We punish rapists! » Kishima: « You only convict 2% of rapists. 98% of rapists go unreported, or the police close the cases without further action. » I was shocked by this information. So that means society shows favoritism. Society punishes and protects certain criminals.
I finished the lesson at 5:35 p.m. before leaving Block S and returning to my dorm. I lay on my bed and played with my phone. But I couldn't forget the truths that this 14-year-old boy had told me. I murmured: « This kid managed to make me doubt society with just a few words. I understand why he's nicknamed the little devil. Just like the devil, he wants to make people doubt. »
