Liz turned to her at the sound of her voice before silently walking over to Serena. It then stopped in front of her and sat on its hind legs, tail flickering for a second.
Finally Liz asked, "What do you want to talk about?"
"This new mission…" Serena stated. "Do you promise no one will get hurt if I complete it? Can the Beast God promise that?"
She;d been going back and forth on whether to do this mission or not for some time now. And she knew deep down that she was going to land up accepting it despite the possible consequences.
Because that was the kind of person she was.
However, that didn't make accepting it any easier. Thus she wanted a promise from the Beast God, so that her worries could at least be eased a little. Granted there was one other thing she wanted to confirm.
But one thing at a time.
