Davis was exiting his hut when a giant black bird suddenly crash landed in front of him. He was about to let out a curse when he realized it was just Jason.
The bird beastman shifted into his human form and cried out, "I got rejected!"
The rabbit beastman stared at him, confused as to what exactly he was going on about. He rubbed his eyes and muttered, "Can you start from the beginning? Who rejected you?"
Davis would be lying if he said he expected someone to reject Jason. The bird beastman didn't seem like it, but he was pretty strong for his age, enough to compete with city beastmen.
Any beastwoman from a village or tribe would be lucky to have such a beastman devoted to them. Some of the rabbit beastwomen were even eyeing him. But Jason's personality could counter that benefit…
After all, he had a real talent for causing trouble.
"Serena rejected me after I asked to be her mate." Jason answered, making Davis go still. "Is there something wrong with me?"
