One should know that Lucas's stamina was higher than the average person as he boasted being energetic even after satisfying his girlfriend in bed.
In their Dorm 69, only Lucas and Thomas have girlfriends.
Of course, aside from 'that' stamina, they also go to the gym with him regularly, even dragging Mathew who was the least interested in physical activities. So, their physique was still among the best compared to most students.
'Speaking of which, what happened to their girlfriends? Thomas's girlfriend doesn't matter as Thomas had already died and it's not like she's his wife that we'd have to take care of after our brother's death.'
'Tho, it does make me wonder if Lucas's girlfriend had something to rely on, or had already betrayed him.'
Gabriel wasn't thinking maliciously but he knew that one shouldn't be too trusting in times like this.
The descent of the Dormitory Survival Game had twisted everyone's morality and bottom line, even including himself.
As the Dorm 69's leader, he shouldered the responsibility of leading his brothers to victory. And if not victory, at least guaranteeing their survival.
While Gabriel was deep in thought, Mathew who was meticulously arranging the supplies they acquired immediately stopped.
He shifted his attention towards Gabriel while stating, "I am Mathew, a student. Who are you?"
Noticing Mathew placing his hand on the wall, ready to active his Minister of Defense (Purple) talent, Gabriel couldn't help but praise him for his cautiousness.
Dorm 69 needed such talents like him!
"I'm Gabriel, a student."
Receiving Gabriel's answer, Mathew breathed a sigh of relief and immediately took out a weapon from his inventory.
Tossing it towards Gabriel, Gabriel caught it and gripped it's hilt. What Mathew gave him was an iron sword!
After acquiring the weapon he needed the most, Gabriel grinned as he imagined his future days of going outside the dorm to kill door-breaking monsters while most students could only cower inside their dorm!
'Well, I can't be too conceited as it still depends on what kind of door-breaking monster would appear in the first phase. But since it's the first phase of the Dormitory Survival Game, the game shouldn't be that heartless to send strong ones, right?'
While reigning his arrogance, Gabriel couldn't help but doubt the intentions of the Dormitory Survival Game.
In the end, he decided to deal with such matters when he became powerful enough to flip the table. For now, he could only honestly act as a player until he had that level of power
Checking the time, Gabriel noticed that the Dormitory Survival Game's countdown only showed 2:26.
In other words, there's only less than three minutes left before the game would start!
"Mathew, how long would the food and water supplies last?"
"Two weeks. If we strictly ration it, it can last for three weeks. Those students weren't stupid and they knew how valuable water is. Even those who obtained food resources from the cafeteria yet didn't get water could only exchange their food with our water."
After answering Gabriel's question, Mathew's expression became solemn, "However, our action of trading abundant water had caught the attention of Damien and other ambitious students."
"If not for them being wary of the imminent first phase, they would have already attacked our dorm and plundered our resources."
In response, Gabriel merely chuckled, "Let them come if they want."
'Anyway, if we are killed, then, we die. At most, this life simulation will end, but I'll still kill as many of them as possible before I die.'
One could say that as long as he was in the life simulation, Gabriel was fearless! Within it, he had the perks of being a REturn Zero protagonist!
Even if his regression wasn't unlimited, the fact that he could bring his future power back to the present world was already something that gave him an edge against most regressor protagonists!
While Gabriel thought so, he didn't forget to take out ten wood from his system inventory.
His system inventory has infinite storage compared to the limited player inventory that only possessed ten slots. So, he had stored all of the resources he scavenged before into his system inventory.
After taking out ten wood, Gabriel tossed it to Mathew and asked, "This should be enough to upgrade our dormitory door to level 2, right?"
Receiving the wood, Mathew placed them inside his player inventory. Afterward, he moved his right hand towards the door and then activated his Minister of Defense (Purple) talent.
Initiating a defense structure upgrade, with the effects of his talent, Mathew only used up 6 wood while the rest were saved up.
Yet, the Level 1 Wooden Door successfully upgraded to Level 2 Reinforced Wooden Door.
After Mathew upgraded the door, he informed Gabriel, "My talent managed me to save up 40% of the resources needed. Of course, it's not absolute as it might depend on the quality of the resources and my stamina."
"If either my Physique or Spirit stat is higher, the resources saved might even be more than this."
Gabriel nodded and asked, "Whats the next materials required to upgrade the door to level 3? I feel that just level 2 door isn't enough.
"Damien and a few players who took hold of resource points managed to increase theirs to level 3. No matter what, even if we can't surpass them, we must not be behind."
In response to Gabriel's question, Mathew showed the door upgrade resource requirements to him.
