I heard commotions from the temple as an elderly priest tried to stop them from leaving, making me raise an eyebrow. Why would he want to stop them so badly when a thought came up as I used my eyes ability to watch his past, pictures of him standing in front of a pile of money, and the man in the fur shaking his hand as it all came together. I pulled out a Kunai, throwing it as it hit him in the side of the head, killing him.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" A man who worked at the temple yelled, making me scuff. "Sensei, if you go to this dead man's room and look under the table next to his bed, there should be a hidden floor panel with money and a letter from that stalker. He was selling her out." I said, making the female guards and the priestess gasp. "Lies!" Yelled the man as I walked forward.
"Would you follow me, Priestess? I wish to show you," I said as she nodded under her veil. As some of the workers stepped in front of us, I pulled out a Kunai, coating it with wind nature as I spoke. "If I am wrong, then I will turn myself in, but if you try and stop me, I will put you in the same boat as the person I just killed. Raikou, you and your sister make sure none of them leave." I said as the twins pulled out their Kunai and readied themselves.
We made it to the elders' room, and I threw the intable against the wall, ripping the floor panel up. Everyone gasped as I reached for a letter and handed it to the Priestess, who read it.
"We will talk to the main temple. You killed him to protect me. We will leave now, as it's in my best interest, since your Sensei has informed me that it has become too dangerous. Thank you for protecting me." She said, removing her veil, making everyone gasp as she only does this for someone she respects.
They were right, she was breathtaking as she smiled and spoke. "My name is Tenshi. I don't have a last name, as I was raised in the temple as an orphan. Can I know your name?" She asked.
"I am Kume Miko, please, it's best you leave now," I said, wanting to give them as much time as possible. She nodded before putting her veil back on, and they made haste to the carriage as I spoke to the men here. "I don't care if any of you have had a hand in this, but stay inside the temple. If you come out, I will kill you." I said, making them nod as they locked themselves inside.
I didn't want any of them snitching on us until they had at least an hour head start. The group began to leave as Sensei took one last look at me in the field before following. I had thirty minutes until the group walked out of the forest and entered my trap. That means I need to stall for thirty minutes or more, hopefully kill him.
That way I don't have to deal with the issue later, I still haven't noticed if Itachi is with him or nearby. Time ticked by until I finally heard movement through the forest, which was the fastest way between the village they were at and here, and it made more sense for them to come this way.
There he was, he looked at me and smirked. "Where is this virgin Priestess, boy?" He said. As I chuckled, "I didn't know fish could talk, but they don't really make good ninja, as I could smell you a mile away." I said, fanning in front of my nose. My words made him laugh.
"You have spunk, kid, but do you even know who I am?" He said, tilting his head as I smiled.
"Kisame Hoshigaki, a rogue ninja, was part of the seven swordsmen of the mist. Now part of the Akatsuki and works with his partner, Itachi Uchiha." I said as the smile on his face went away.
"How do you know that?" He said, making him glare at me. He wanted to know why this boy knew he worked with Itachi; they don't exactly leave witnesses alive, and they only ever show one of themselves to their employer.
"I know many things. I even know what the Akatsuki is after. I mean, it's not only a place where high-level rouges hide out." I said, making him now focus on me and not the Priestess, that the job means nothing compared to keeping their goal a secret.
"Boy, you shouldn't have said that. Now I have to kill you. But first, I will get everything out of you! Get him!" He yelled out, making the thugs charge me, as he wanted to see what skills I had first.
Waiting until they were halfway between us, I quickly formed hand signs, Ice style: Twin Ice Dragons, two one-hundred-meter-wide ice dragons shot out. Kisame cursed as he formed hand signs rapidly, and a giant tidal wave fifty meters tall burst forth. My dragons froze the fifty men and slammed into his tidal wave, freezing it as a mist quickly formed. My eyes shone blue with a crescent moon. My figure disappeared into the fog.
It became quite clear that Kisame didn't like this as he scanned the area, only to hear nothing, until the sound of something flying through the air. As he pulled his sword out, he met a Kunai with a tag on it, which exploded, knocking him back. "Fuck!" He roared as I chukled behind him.
Leaf hurricane, I kicked him with a chakra-enhanced kick, sending him flying towards the frozen wave as he crushed through it, spitting out a mouthful of blood as he stuck his sword in the ground, stopping himself. The mist slowly cleared as I stood on the part of the frozen wave, looking down at him. "For an S-rank, you aren't faring too well against me," I said, egging him on.
"Kid, you should watch that pride of yours." A voice came from behind me as a Kunai went through my body. But then it turned into smoke as I stood behind the man who said those words. "So you were here, Itachi Uchiha," I said behind the man with a Kunai to his back.
"This is a real pickle you put me in, if it were just Kisame. I could have handled it, but throwing you into the mix can be a problem. Let's cut those eyes off, shall we?" I said, activating my seal, which made Itachi's eyes return to normal.
"What did you do?" He said, shocked, making me smile. "I had to make sure if you were here or not, so I did this whole flashy setup. But I noticed your movements while in the fog using my eyes' special sight, so I turned my back to you so you couldn't put me under a genjutsu as you would think you needed to. I laid a chakra sealing formation way before you all came here." I said, making him sigh.
"So you acting high and mighty was to make me act. Impressive, I didn't think the village had a talent like you. So what now?" He said. He tried using his chakra but found it wouldn't flow.
"We will chill for an hour, and then I will be out of your hair. I don't want to kill you after all, Itachi. I kind of respect you, but also hate you for trying to kill Izume. Lucky for you, I stepped in to save her." I said, making him look over his shoulder and speak.
"It was you who stopped him that night." He said in a low voice.
