While Michael looked at the man with a questioning gaze, the man went ahead and explained everything.
According to the man, previously, during the conflict between the two gangs, the reason why the police raided the base of the Shadow Assembly gang was because they received the information from someone within the gang.
This was how they came to know that there were some illegal drugs within the basement of the gym.
For him to betray the gang, he had been paid quite a good amount of cash by the Blood tiger gang.
It was just that, things did not go as he had expected. From the information that he had received, he thought, the Blood tiger gang would be able to take down shadow assembly gang, which was why he had decided to defect.

As for the reason why they received reinforcements, the man found out that Dante actually had a cousin who was from the Phantom gang, which was a gang that controlled shadow assembly and two other gangs of the same level.
It was after he got this piece of news that he began panicking. Due to his betrayal of the gang, he was obviously targeted.
Escaping from the city was not an option at all. After all, as long as the shadow assembly gang wanted to capture him, it was quite easy.

Upon hearing the narration from the man, Michael was left dumbfounded. He had not anticipated that within just a few days that he had been here, so many things had happened.
It was already a week since he came to live here. He had thought, he would gather as much SP as possible, then leave the city and start his life somewhere else.
But it was completely unexpected to him that something this big had happened. While he had already been anticipating this, considering that the two gangs had been clashing with each other for quite a while, it was just unexpected that it was this soon.

"Now, what do you want to do?" Michael asked after a moment of silence.
"Since both of us have betrayed the gang, why don't we team up? As long as we team up, we should be able to escape from this city, escape the clutches of Dante." The man revealed his thoughts, while looking at Michael hopefully.
"Do you think you have the ability of escaping from them if they want to get you?" Michael asked, slightly puzzled.
"What we lack is money. With money, it is possible for us to be able to do anything. As long as we have a sufficient amount of money, it should not be a problem for us to be able to get out of this city." The man responded confidently.
But this still left Michael questioning, how did this guy know that he had money? Could it be that this guy had seen him doing some shopping?
Or maybe, he had access to the information in his card? But the possibility of something like this was extremely low.
"Who told you I have money?" Michael asked while gazing at the man intently.
"Huh? You don't have money? But you were working as an accountant before. And, for you to be able to afford this place, it is clear that you must have some cash. Otherwise, it will be impossible for you to be able to afford a house here." The man responded, his expression filled with doubt.
Michael shook his head internally, realizing that this guy had his own assumptions about him.
"You think that I used to handle money? All that I deal with are just the records of the transactions, not even a single cent gets to me. So, how am I supposed to steal the money?" Michael asked as he looked at the man, as if he was looking at an idiot.
"Impossible! If you did not steal money from the gang, then how could you afford this place? Or, did you, just like me, betray them to the blood tiger gang?" The man asked, his voice raising a few decibels.
It was as if he could not believe what he was hearing. It seemed, he had already thought, since he could not kidnap Michael, then this was the only way out.
But now, Michael saying that he did not have money, did that not imply that he had no way out?
Just thinking about the smiling demon of the underworld made his entire body shiver. He could not accept that he might end up being caught by that demon.
Upon realizing that the mentality of this guy was crumbling, Michael suddenly bent down and hit the back of his neck, knocking him unconscious.
After that, he looked around, found a few ropes that he used to tie the man onto a dining chair.
After he was done with that, Michael realized, he had to get away from this place. He had only been here for a week, but it seemed that he would have to flee again.
Just the thought of the money that would be wasted here made him, who had been quite frugal for quite a while now, feel quite some pain.
But there was no any other choice. He was not ready to confront the Shadow Assembly gang, at least for the time being.
But before that, he decided to upgrade his combat skill to the intermediate level first.
Thinking about that, he took his phone that he had put in his pocket, before continuing to watch the video that he had been watching before being forced to pause.
As usual, he was watching the video in fast forward, and a few minutes later, what he was waiting for finally arrived.
