"Chen!"
Mo Yichen was about to enter the piano room when his mother, Madam Mo, suddenly appeared in front of him, blocking his path.
"Chen," she said, her voice sharp with exhaustion. "When will this madness stop? You are neglecting your health, and you are neglecting your wife. She is not eben eating well. Today you went to see her, did you even reconcile with her and make sure she had eaten?"
Madam Mo, was filled with worry and the guilt in Yichen's heart twisted further.
He turned around, the lines around his eyes deep with strain. "Mother, please. Everything will be okay. I just need time to think."
He was lying.
He didn't have a solution for anything, the lines on his face only deepened once he arrived home and he knew what was responsible for that.
