Keifer's POV
The maid opened the door, and what we saw.
Dylan,
He set foot inside the house.We all got up from our table as soon as we saw him.
I thought he must have come to threaten us, so I immediately went to him and asked.
Why have you come here?
There's some bad news, Mr Watson, he said.
What is it? I asked.
Your father died of a heart attack. He answered.
Is this true? I asked.
Yes, Mr Watson, and your relatives have invited you to your father's funeral. He said and then left immediately.
I came back and sat down in the chair.
What happened? What did he say? Jay asked.
He has given some good news. I answered.
What is it? Honey asked.
Everybody started staring at me,
He said that the beast has died. I answered
How? Keigan asked
From a heart attack. I replied
Is it true? Keiren asked
Yes, and our relatives have invited us to the funeral. His funeral is tomorrow. I Answered.
So, should we go? Keigan asked
We'll see, eat breakfast in peace. I said calmly.
(In the afternoon)
I was sitting on the couch in my room. I was postponing the meeting on my laptop for tomorrow.
The door opened, and Jay came in,"Now let's go to have lunch," she said.
I'm busy, I don't want to eat right now. I replied without seeing him; my eyes were on the laptop screen.
How long have you been doing this? You didn't even have a proper breakfast. She said
I raised my head, looked at her and replied I can't eat right now, I am busy.Then she left.
Jay's POV
I went to the kitchen, asked a maid to heat the food.
I too had not eaten the lunch, so I kept food for myself and for Keifer, in advance.
The maid asked me for any help, but I refused.
Then I took the tray and went back to the room.I slowly opened the door.I kept the tray aside, and then I went to Keifer.
Are you free now? I asked Yeah, only a little bit left. He answered
I grabbed the plate of food from the tray and sat down next to him.
Keifer's POV
My eyes were only on the laptop when she said "Keifer". I turned to see that she was holding the spoon in her hand, with rice in it

Open your mouth, I'll feed you. She said.
I didn't say anything, I just opened my mouth as she said, then she started to feed me.
Really, She takes care of me like she is my mom. I'm very lucky to have her.
Did you eat anything yet? I asked
I'll eat now. She answered
Why haven't you eaten anything yet? I asked
Eat your food quietly now. She threatened.
After eating.
As I finished my work, I closed my laptop and saw that she had also completed her meal.
Jay, you also have to go with me tomorrow. I said
She almost chocked on the water she was drinking.
What? She asked
I said you have to go with me tomorrow. I replied.
But— she tried to say something, but I cut it off. Don't worry about that. I said
(Next day in the morning)
As I woke up, I got up from the bed, went to the bathroom, washed my face and came downstairs.
As soon as I came down, I saw that Keifer was in the kitchen.I went to him and asked 'What are you making?'
The moment he saw me, the spatula slipped from his hand.
Jay, why are you roaming around the house wearing this? He asked in shock,
What? I asked.
As I saw myself, I immediately covered my chest with my hands. I was wearing a, which had a wide neck, that made my chest visible a bit.
Sorry, I forgot I was wearing this, and I rushed to the bedroom and locked the door.
Thank god nobody else saw me like this. I muttered to myself.
Then we all got ready and left for the funeral.
We were sitting on the chair. Keiren was sitting beside me, clinging to me.
He was scared, so I put my hand on his shoulder so that he could feel that I was with him. Keigan was sitting next to Keiren.
There was a frame of that beast in front.
Keifer was discussing something with his cousins in the corner. I saw that a lawyer gave some papers to Keifer to sign, and then the lawyer took the papers with him.
After a while, Keifer came to me and held my hand. I quickly got up.
"Come with me," he said.
"But Keiren and Keigan?" I asked.
"Honey is with them," he answered.
He took me to meet his relatives. I was feeling a little nervous. As we reached where his relatives were, I grew even more anxious.
Is this Jay? one of them asked.
Are you his girlfriend? another said.
"Nice to meet you." One of his cousins, shook hands with me and said.
"Nice to meet you too," I replied.
The rest of his cousins and relatives arrived there as well.
Keifer put his arm around my shoulder, holding me close.
"This is my fiancée—my soon to-be wife," he said, introducing me to his cousins and relatives.
As I heard that, I immediately turned to look at him, but he was staring straight ahead.
"Now all the control is fully in my hands. I'm about to turn twenty-one, and I'm going to get married on my upcoming birthday.
And you guys better not plan to do anything behind my back," he said firmly.
"Keifer, don't you dare do that," his cousin said, trying to control his anger.
"I know you wanted to take the position of CEO of the Watson Empire, but you lost. Don't even try to do that again, or else no one will be worse off than you," he said.
Then he pulled me by the hand and took me away.
Then he told everyone that we'll be leaving and took us all out of the venue and went to the car.
On the way, I was thinking about what his cousin had said.
[Don't you dare to do that.]

Is he hiding something from me?
