Jay's POV
I was reading and making notes for college.
Then, suddenly, my phone rang. I picked it up and saw it was Keifer, and I picked up the call.
"Hello, wifey. What are you doing?" he asked.
"I was just making notes," I answered.
"It's a holiday tomorrow, so… can we go on a date today?" he asked.
I thought about it for a while, then smiled. "Okay, let's go."
"Be ready in the evening, okay, babe," he said.
"Hmm… okay, you too," I replied.
"Okay, bye. Love you until scientists find the end of the universe," he said.
"Love you too, Kukki," I said, then hung up the call.
Yes — Kukki. That's what I lovingly call him.
I set an alarm on my phone and went back to making notes. After working for quite some time, my alarm suddenly rang.
Tring…
I turned off the alarm and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower. Then I got ready and wore a black dress. After getting ready, I called Keif to tell him that I was ready.
He picked up the call and "Are you ready, love?" he asked.
"Yeah, I'm ready, Keif", I replied to him
" I'll come to pick you", he said and ended the call.
Then I went downstairs and told the maid to take care of the house because Papa was still at work.
Then the bell rang, and when I opened the door, he was standing in front of me. He asked, 'We'll go?' and I nodded. Then he took my hand, and we sat inside the car.
Then on the way, he told me that we were going to a luxurious hotel, which was a half an hour drive from my home.
When we reached, I held his hand and walked together inside the restaurant, and it was decorated beautifully!.
The whole cafe was empty.
I asked Keifer what was going on, and he told me something unbelievable —He had booked the entire café.
"What? But why?" I asked, surprised.
"Because I wanted to spend quality time with you. If other people were here, it might have spoiled the moment," he said with a soft smile.
"So what was the need to go this far?" I asked, still amazed.
"I'm a Watson — I can do anything for the one I love," he replied confidently.
"You're so full of yourself," I said, rolling my eyes playfully. He just chuckled.
We sat down at an empty table in the middle of the café. A waiter soon came over to take our order.
After a short while, our food arrived.I had ordered the Beef Wellington, while Keifer chose the Caviar Omelette at the Ritz.
The dishes looked exquisite — pure luxury.When I took the first bite, I couldn't help but smile. It was absolutely delicious. After we were done eating, he took me to a park and we sat on a bench.
We sat together, talking about what we would do after finishing college.
"After college," Keifer said confidently, "we'll get married soon. You don't need to worry about a thing — I'm a Watson, remember?"
I laughed softly and playfully hit his arm. "You're so full of yourself."
He just laughed, his eyes shining with mischief.
Then a thought crossed my mind. "What if my cousin finds out that I'm still with you?" I asked quietly.
"Hey, don't worry," he said, his tone serious now. "I can do anything for you, even if it means standing up to Angelo."
"And what if he separates us again?" I asked, my voice trembling a little.
"I won't let that happen," he said firmly. "After my mother, you're the only person I can't afford to lose. I'll do anything to be with you. You're mine — only mine. And don't think about anything else, okay?"
(A pause)
I sat there watching the sunset. After a while, Keifer looked at me, and when I noticed, I looked back at him too. For a moment, it felt like the whole world had gone silent, leaving just the two of us beneath the fading orange sky.
Then he pulled my face closer and kissed me. I was amazed but responded immediately.
After we pulled back. He asked if I could stay for the night at his home. Before I could say anything, he suddenly carried me bridal style.
"Heyy, I still didn't agree", I gasped.
"You'll always agree when it comes to my requests," he said proudly with a grin on his face.
I blushed and hid on his shirt, smacking him slightly, and he just laughed it off.
When he placed me inside the car, I took my phone and dialled the maid to inform her to tell Papa that I would be sleeping at my friend's home tonight.
