Chapter 27 - CHAPTER 27 – TRINITY UNIT

Omega Server quaked under the three-way war.

Dark Tooth clashed against corporate legions, Hunter AIs butchered anyone moving, and in the center of it all—the Reboot Fragment pulsed crimson-blue in Yuto'o's hands, a beacon calling every predator to him.

And now, before the Circuit Ghost, stood three avatars clad in white and gold.

Lux. Umbra. Vita.

The Trinity Unit.

Their golden aura fused, holographic blades orbiting like divine satellites.

Yuuki stepped beside Yuto'o, his neon-pink whip trembling with lethal energy.

"Kid… if you're going to keep standing, do it with your head. Fighting them isn't like fighting Chimera. These are Ghost-killers, built for one job."

Yuto'o clenched his broken glitch blade. Cracks webbed across his body, yet his mouth curved into a crooked grin.

"If they were built to kill Ghosts… then let me be the first bug that makes them crash."

Lux moved first. A golden flash ripped through the battlefield—his body warped like pure light.

In a blink, his blade was already at Yuto'o's throat.

KRANGGG!

The broken glitch sword barely held. Neon sparks erupted, driving Yuto'o back a few steps.

Lux's voice was cold. "Your reflexes improved. But you're fractured. One more strike… and you're finished."

Blood-data dripped from Yuto'o's chin as he chuckled through the pain.

"If you want me finished, you'll need better lines than recycled threats."

Umbra advanced, his black-gold scythe spinning.

[SHADOW LOCK]

Shadows rose from the ground, chains of void wrapping Yuto'o's legs, pulling him down into nothingness.

Umbra's whisper seeped through the dark. "You've run long enough. This void makes you stay… forever."

Yuto'o inhaled slowly, eyes closing for a heartbeat.

"Stay silent? I already lived in silence—an empty room in the real world. Your void isn't darker than what I left behind."

Glitch aura burst free. Guardians manifested, shredding Umbra's chains. Yuto'o surged forward once more.

Vita's laugh echoed. Her fingers danced, rewriting green code mid-air.

[CODE REWRITE – CORRUPTION +8%]

Yuto'o's body convulsed. Fractures deepened, corruption climbed. His dual-colored eyes burned feral.

Vita's smile dripped venom. "I can rewrite you like script. You think you're unique? You're nothing but an error waiting to be erased."

Yuto'o staggered upright, breaths ragged. Yet his smile was calm, almost serene.

"If I'm an error… then I'm the one that already corrupted your system. And I'm not done."

Yuuki suddenly cracked his whip across Vita, slamming her into a wall of burning code.

"Kid, don't waste your lungs. These aren't gladiators you can taunt—they're living algorithms."

Yuto'o shot back, fire in his eyes. "If they're algorithms… then I'll be the bug they can't debug."

Yuuki smirked faintly, dark amusement flashing. "Sometimes I enjoy that foul mouth of yours. Just make sure your blade speaks as loud."

The Trinity regrouped, reforming their triangular stance. Their combined aura blazed hotter, golden light suffocating the battlefield.

[SYNC PROTOCOL: 90%]

Lux raised his blade, Umbra spun his scythe, Vita scribbled faster, code streams surrounding her like scripture.

The air itself bent under the sync.

From afar, Grim bellowed, hacking through corporate soldiers, carving open a path.

"CIRCUIT GHOST! IF YOU DIE HERE, DARK TOOTH WILL FEAST ON YOUR CORPSE!"

Orbis screamed over his terminal, fingers flying.

"Yuji! If their sync hits 100%, a single strike can wipe everything!"

Yuto'o exhaled deeply. His eyes glowed wild, steady. Both hands gripped the shattered blade.

No scream, no vow. Just a whisper.

"…If one strike can erase me… then mine will land first."

Glitch aura erupted. His body nearly collapsed, distortion tearing the server apart.

[GLITCH WARP FIELD – MAX DISTORTION]

Glitch shadows consumed half the Omega battlefield, warping reality around him.

The Trinity fused. Golden light blazed, shaking the warzone.

[TRINITY STRIKE – CHARGING]

Yuuki's expression hardened, his crimson eyes cutting to Yuto'o.

"Kid… now prove whether you're a Ghost—or just the system's last error."

Yuto'o stood tall, body 90% shattered, blade half-broken. But his eyes… they were calm, no longer just resolve.

"If I vanish… let history remember me as the crash they could never forget."
