Quietly, she tucked the necklace into her space. Nowhere else was safer.
Then she sat down, thinking hard.
She didn't want to go to the countryside. But staying here… wasn't the best option either.
She had to cut all ties with the Su family, no matter the cost. She didn't want to stay here any longer.
She also had to return to the northeast and make the Jiang family pay for the suffering they had caused her.
Su father would insist on sending her to the countryside for sure.
And, after thinking for a while, she made a plan.
She knew what to do going forward. She couldn't keep being the pushover. Yes, she wouldn't be a pushover anymore.
After thinking for a while, she went downstairs.
She looked at the three of the family members already starting dinner without even calling her.
No use feeling sadness.
All she wanted was to just get back and sleep inside without eating but she had to live for herself this time. She had to take care of herself.
Heavens had pitied her and given her chance. She couldn't treat herself worse.
Just because of anger, she couldn't sleep hungrily.
What's the use of ego? Food was what was truly important.
She told herself not to forget to stock on the food and hide them in her space next day. There were lots of things to do.
She said nothing to three of them and sat on the empty chair.
Even the bowl hadn't been set for her.
She stood, entered kitchen, brought the bowl and poured herself some rice and started eating.
Three of them acted like they hadn't even seen her. They didn't feel a single guilt for not calling her for dinner.
Su father instead felt that she didn't deserve to eat their food since she wasn't their daughter.
His face expressed his dissatisfaction but he stopped himself from conveying it. After all, he needed her to do some things as his daughter.
If she went to the countryside.The leaders would have good impression of his family. It would be easier for him to be promoted.
Su Miao Miao was realizing how much of the rotten and heartless this family was.
She ate till she was 80% full and walked upstairs.
If it was other days, she would have stayed to wash the dishes. The chores were distributed between mother and daughter equally.
But today, she didn't even glance back and walked upstairs.
Seeing her behaviour, Su Mother felt that Su Miao Miao, such a dense and heartless girl could indeed not be her daughter.
She didn't think to realize how heartless she had been to Miao Miao ever since finding about her real daughter.
Su father and Su Ran Ran didn't even glance at her.
Looking at her parents behavior, Su Ran Ran was pleased.
Look, these were her real parents. Despite raising that girl for so long, they didn't put that girl first before herself, their real daughter.
They wanted to send her away. To the countryside as an educated youth.
How could that be enough?
She thought to herself: That wench stole my place for so long. She has to pay. I will make sure she regrets ever being born.
Su Miao Miao entered her room.
Realizing that no one is going to come to her room since both of the Su parents were busy with Su Ran tan, she felt relieved.
Now she could enter her space without worrying.
Still, she locked her doors and windows and entered the space. It wouldn't hurt to be careful.
Inside the space, she wanted to go to hill area. Last time she had visited there, she had seen few fruits trees.
She wanted to see if the fruits are ripe, if they are, she also wanted to collect those and store them in the warehouse.
The warehouse could preserve the food for eternity. She wouldn't have to be hungry.
She thought to herself that she wanted to go to the hill area.
And she teleported to there. It was like magic. She had gotten used to doing things with conciousness now.
The hill was covered with dense forest. The trees were huge and green.
She looked around. Small animal were running around.
There were birds flying around. Some were small, common but some were huge, rare too.
They didn't even run away upon seeing her.
Maybe because she was the owner of this space. Or maybe there were other reasons. She wasn't sure.
She saw the snake slithering near her foot. She sceeamed in horror.
But the animals and birds around her just turned their heads towards her once and continued doing their work.
Even the snake nearest to her just looked at her and slithered away as if the scream didn't scare it at all.
Seeing their reaction, she realized that she didn't need to get scared at all.
She wanted to catch pheasants and rabbits to cook something tasty.
She could cook good food if she was given the ingredients.
And in Jiang family, she had cooked daily even though they were mostly watered porridge with mixed poor quality grain and wild vegetables.
She had also seen the cooking guidance book among the medicinal books on the cottage house.
She could learn and cook.
There were lots of spices on the kitchen.
She hadn't used them when she was in her soul form. But she could use them now.
She walked to the rabbit hopping nearby and picked it up. It didn't resist at all and just stared at her with its big eyes.
For a moment, she found it cute. And since it was so docile, she didn't want fo kill it.
But then, she thought of the braised rabbit, stir fry rabbit and many other food that could be cooked with the rabbit and her mouth watered.
The rabbit shuddered with fear at her expression.
She thought of killing the rabbit. And it lost it's life in her hand with out her having to do anything.
