Swen was following the light inside the crystal orb as she walked.
After a long trek, she stopped behind a pile of stones.
When she crouched down and looked ahead, she saw two silhouettes in the distance.
One was lying on the ground, and the other was standing beside him.
Wen raised the orb and activated her detection spell.
The orb's glow pointed directly at the man lying there.
> "So… Mikail's Spear is here," she whispered.
Her brows furrowed.
> "But… that's impossible."
"If this is the so-called demon, his cultivation power is almost nonexistent."
She stayed silent for a moment, then let out a faint, mocking sigh through her nose.
> "And honestly, someone this handsome being a demon? Statistically impossible."
She took a step back, assessing the situation.
> "So they did what I was planning to do."
"They must've taken the spear from him after he died."
Turning the orb in her hand, a weary yet determined look appeared on her face.
> "If I ask nicely, they won't give it to me."
"I'm an alchemist, not a warrior…"
She straightened her shoulders.
> "Best to take it while they're asleep."
"Quietly. Clean and simple."
> "If I'm careful enough, this will all be over by morning."
