Chapter 66 - Chapter 63 If nobody wants it, then it's mine.

"That was so cool, Noah!"

Even with motion sickness symptoms, Natsu couldn't help touching [Dragon Rider] like a child seeing a new and exciting toy.

The others, however, were still reeling from the shock of the dramatic turn of events.

Standing on the shoulder of the magical mecha, Erza looked at the drastically changed Tower of Paradise, breathed a slight sigh of relief, and emerged from her shock. "Thank you, Noah."

"No problem."

Noah's voice came from the [Drakenman].

Upon sensing the inexplicable deadly crisis, Noah did not hesitate to summon the dragon riders from his spatial ring.

In the last second before that destructive light fell, Noah, controlling the [Dragon Rider], narrowly escaped from the tower with all his companions and the dove.

Noah was powerless to help the others inside the tower.

The dragon riders, controlled by Noah, landed on the shore, while Snow White had been squeaking on the ship for quite some time.

As soon as they landed, Gray and Natsu went to investigate the Magic Crystal Tower.

Lucy jumped down from the dragon rider's palm, looking at the sky with lingering fear. "What was that just now? It suddenly turned the Tower of Paradise into magic crystal... How terrifying."

"That's the power of magical spirits."

The one who answered Lucy was Ikaruga, "I participated in the war against the invasion of the Western Continent three years ago. At that time, the Council used this magic to force the Western army to withdraw from Ishgar."

"I don't understand why the Tower of Paradise was struck by [magical spirit power] but instead of being destroyed, it turned into magic crystals."

Simon and the others who built the Tower of Paradise were also completely baffled. Although they participated in the construction of the Tower of Paradise, only Gerald knew how the tower was actually used.

Noah emerged from the dragon rider's cabin and, in front of everyone, shrunk the majestic magical mecha to the size of a figurine, placing it into his spatial ring.

Noah put the ring and necklace back around his neck, pretending not to see the curious looks from his companions, especially Natsu. Instead of explaining the [Dragon Rider] he had suddenly pulled out, he started talking about the [R System].

"The Tower of Paradise is a magic storage crystal with an 'absorption' function, used to store the magic power necessary to activate the [R System]."

"Now that it has gathered the necessary magic power by absorbing [magical spirit power], and with sufficient energy, it will naturally reveal its true form."

"I wonder what happened at the Council headquarters that even the Chairman couldn't stop the activation of [Magical Spirit Power]."

Erza frowned slightly, but when she thought of Makarov's strength and temper, she stopped worrying.

Before long, Natsu and Gray returned, pushing a large ice cart together. The cart was piled high with people, including the other two members of the Three Crows and some soldiers from the tower.

From the slight rise and fall of their chests, it was easy to see that they were still alive, which was beyond Noah's expectations.

The Tower of Paradise does have an absorption function, but it was able to completely absorb the [Magical Spirit Power], which possessed absolute destructive magic, without leaving a trace, and still leave the people inside the tower completely unaffected by the [Magical Spirit Power].

However, this is only a part of the functionality of the [R system], and not even the main function.

This made Noah sigh, realizing that the dark mage who created this magic more than 400 years ago was truly a terrifying figure.

Fortunately, more than 400 years have passed, and even the Dark Mage with extraordinary talent is destined to die; otherwise, why would Jellal go to such lengths to revive him?

There were still many ordinary people inside the tower, so Simon and the others went with Natsu and the others into the Magic Crystal Tower to rescue them.

Erza originally wanted to go and save people, but she saw Noah using whatever materials were available, crushing small pieces of magic crystal he had chiseled from the Magic Crystal Tower into powder with explosives, and arranging something around the Magic Crystal Tower.

Following Noah out of curiosity, Erza became increasingly puzzled as she looked around. Noah had set up a magic circle that looked extremely complex.

The magic patterns made of magic crystal powder were so dense that even a mage like Erza couldn't help but feel dizzy looking at them.

Mages usually use their own magic power to inscribe magic circles to complete magic, and rarely rely on external forces. It is extremely rare for someone like Noah to directly use magic crystals to set up a magic circle.

Unable to contain her curiosity any longer, the red-haired girl couldn't help but interrupt her companion, "Noah, what are you doing?"

"Isn't it obvious? They're setting up magic."

As he spoke, Noah knocked another magic crystal off the tower and crushed it with a very weak explosive spell.

While continuing his work, Noah also told Erza his ultimate goal: "I want this magic crystal tower."

Looking up at the towering structure that seemed to stretch endlessly, Erza wondered if such a massive thing could be simply taken away... She looked back at Noah with suspicion.

Could he be planning to shatter the Magic Crystal Tower and then take the Magic Crystals away in batches? But even with a large transport ship, it would take more than a dozen round trips, and the commotion would be considerable.

Or could we use spatial magic to move this tower?

But magic capable of transferring that level of magic power would have to be super magic. Does Noah know it?

Erza suddenly realized that Noah was like a fog, never showing his true self. Her intuition told her that Noah was hiding something from everyone.

He set my birthday without my permission, but he won't show his true feelings. It's so unfair! So Erza decided that she would observe Noah carefully when she got back and uncover his little secret.

Just as the girl was lost in thought, Natsu and the others had worked together to get everyone out of the tower, and Noah had also completed setting up the magic circle.

He told everyone to step back, and Noah knelt outside the magic circle. He slammed his hands, which were filled with magic power, onto the ground, and a holy white light suddenly rose into the sky, enveloping the magic crystal tower.

[Hyper-Subspace Magic - Anima] activated!

Having been in the world of Asland for seven or eight months, Noah has been having a great time slacking off, but he hasn't forgotten his hometown, the world of Edolas, where magic is about to run out.

With the help of the second Fairy Tail guild master's space magic book and some knowledge of [Anima], Noah successfully replicated the magic that sent him to this world.

Noah had originally planned to collect some magic-rich crystals to send back to the magic-poor world of Edolas to replenish it.

But now there is a massive magical power right in front of him, capable of easily destroying a country, and it is in the form of a magic crystal that is easy to access and use. How could Noah miss this opportunity?

With Gerald arrested, the Tower of Paradise became ownerless.

Since no one claimed it, Noah accepted it without hesitation.

As Noah watched the Magic Crystal Tower gradually disappear from the towering light screen, leaving only the small island where the Tower of Paradise once stood, he breathed a sigh of relief.

Although they are parallel worlds, "Edras" is actually much smaller than "Aslant." The continent of Ishgar alone is no smaller than the world of Edolas.

Noah breathed a sigh of relief; the magic of [Magic Spirit Power] was enough to temporarily alleviate the urgent crisis in his hometown.

As the light curtain dissipated, the unconscious soldiers and the ordinary people who had been deceived by Gerald into continuing to build the Paradise Guard woke up one by one. Some of them recognized the girl who had led everyone in their rebellion against the Paradise Guard.

Simon's explanation brought the truth to light.

It turns out that Erza didn't betray everyone; Jellal deceived everyone to continue building the Tower of Paradise, simply using a different method to continue enslaving them.

The Tower of Paradise is gone now.

But the belated freedom brought mixed feelings of joy and sorrow.

Seven years have passed since Erza was forced to leave the Tower of Paradise, and they have continued building the Tower of Paradise for another seven years. Including the three years they were initially enslaved by the Dark Magic Cult, ten years have passed in total.

That was 10 years. Countless people have been separated from their families by life and death.

For a time, the island was filled with weeping and wailing.

Erza's eyes reddened as she thought of her comrades who died fighting against the guardians of Paradise seven years ago.

Everyone is finally free.

Grandpa Rob, did you see that...?
