Chapter 45 - Chapter 45 Clark's Roar

The chairman of the Owl Council stroked his chin in satisfaction as he watched Mr. Parody's magic instantly send Homelander flying.

"So our Mr. David Copperfield's magic isn't entirely a bluff after all."

After muttering a complaint, he turned his gaze to Mr. Parody, who had unleashed the blue lightning.

Mr. Parody was an aid he had found through acquaintances in the magical world. Mr. John Zatara, the great magician from the Zatara Magic Theater in Crime Alley (Old Park Street) in the New City, was his trump card.

It was said that Mr. John Zatara was proficient in 'Parody Magic' and was the most powerful mage in recent decades.

His daughter was even more astonishingly talented, awakening her magic at the age of three, and their entire family was renowned in the magical world.

Although he had been skeptical that a so-called magic master could cast spells, seeing the immense power of the lightning he unleashed now dispelled all his previous doubts.

"Even with Superman's strength and speed, facing unknown magic, he will be helpless!"

The chairman looked coldly at Eric, who had been struck down by lightning, and snorted.

But soon, what happened next completely exceeded his expectations.

The moment Homelander fell, a figure crashed through the maze wall, and with a roar, struck the master of parody standing in the shadows like lightning.

Bang!

With a loud bang, Mr. Parody, who was levitating in mid-air using magic, was directly slammed through the ground, with dirt and gravel bursting outwards and "pitter-pattering" onto the ground.

It was Clark who delivered the blow!

Clark had not returned to Smallville but continued to track Eric, though he was more vigilant and careful, and maintained a greater distance between them to avoid being discovered.

Upon entering the maze, the first thing he saw was Eric being struck to the ground by lightning.

His maintained rationality vanished instantly, and his anger erupted like a spewing volcano.

Although Clark had many opinions about his younger brother Eric, such as him often being sarcastic, standing behind him as a Riddler, and acting as an annoying parental figure in front of him,

deep down, he regarded Eric as an inseparable family member.

When he broke the equipment in the middle school gym, it was Eric who secretly paid for it without their parents knowing; whether it was Coach Watt, or when he was attacked by "Owlman" and in danger at Lex's residence, it was Eric who came to help him at the last moment.

Although there were various disagreements and conflicts, he was a family member he could rely on at any time.

Now seeing Eric being hit, his uncontrollable rage instantly erupted.

"How dare you touch my family!"

With a flushed face, Clark unleashed the full power contained within his body.

Mr. Parody, who had protected himself with a barrier spell, had just struggled to his feet and muttered "restore wound" to heal his injuries.

The next second, he saw the opponent's fist strike like lightning.

He quickly chanted a spell, forming a complex, ethereal barrier in front of him.

The translucent barrier, hastily woven with elemental power, was directly shattered by Clark's fist.

Bang!

Mr. Parody's chest suffered a heavy blow, and he flew backward again.

Fortunately, the elemental barrier blocked most of the damage, otherwise this punch would have directly incapacitated him.

Even so, Mr. Parody still felt a throbbing, piercing pain in his chest.

Stabilizing himself, Mr. Parody, enduring the pain, suppressed his shock.

He had never seen anyone use a fist to directly shatter an elemental barrier he had woven; this level of strength was simply unheard of!

Although his heart was filled with shock, his hands did not stop. He suddenly waved forward, and as the silently chanted spell left his lips, a monstrous wave of water erupted from deep within the maze.

The surging flood, carrying immense power, charged directly towards the enraged Clark.

Clark gritted his teeth, his feet planted firmly on the ground, unmoving, letting the flood impact him.

After the flood had no effect on Clark, it immediately solidified into ice, forming an ice cabinet that trapped Clark within.

The crystal-clear ice cabinet instantly sealed Clark's body.

"Hoo!"

Mr. Parody, who had just let out a breath, had no time to celebrate when with a "crack," the ice coffin trapping Clark instantly shattered.

"Hmph!"

Accompanied by Clark's roar, he instantly lunged in front of the stunned Mr. Parody.

Reacting quickly, Mr. Parody immediately constructed a stronger defense before Clark could throw a punch.

A larger, translucent, ethereal barrier transformed into a wall, blocking Clark's path.

Thud!

With a powerful impact, Clark's fist slammed into the barrier, creating a massive tremor within the elemental barrier.

"How dare you!"

Thud!

"Touch!"

Thud!

"My brother!"

Thud!

Each punch was stronger than the last, and the final punch landed on Mr. Parody's barrier, directly causing it to shatter like glass.

Seeing the critical situation, Mr. Parody disregarded the taboos he had set for himself, drew his magic wand, and chanted a certain spell, preparing to borrow a darker, more forbidden magical power.

As the obscure spell, like Arabic, was uttered, a strong wind gathered around him, and a swirling hurricane enveloped everything nearby.

Blue lightning rose around his body, and an aura of destruction continuously absorbed and pulverized the surrounding stone debris.

At the same time, Mr. Parody's hair stood on end, his eyes turned pure white, and his entire body slowly ascended.

An ominous and strange dark aura continuously overflowed from his body, causing the entire space to subtly tremble.

Boom!

Suddenly!

A powerful beam of light erupted from his body, shooting straight into the sky.

With a bang, Clark was instantly blasted away by this irresistible beam of light.

Before he could even hit the ground, a large hand made of giant stones grabbed him.

Clark, completely paralyzed and powerless by the strong light beam, struggled in vain, falling into immense pain.

Bang!

At the critical moment, Eric rushed over directly, his fist heavily striking the giant stone hand, shattering the stone that held Clark.

Using the barely unlocked ability of flight from the "Homelander template," Eric relentlessly charged towards Mr. Parody, who was enveloped in the light beam.

Since the opponent was a mage, and he and Clark had low magic resistance and were countered by him, they would resolve the situation through close combat.

As soon as he flew in front of the opponent, a giant sword, dozens of meters long, slashed towards him.

Eric immediately dodged.

The instant he narrowly succeeded in dodging, Mr. Parody, with his eyes turned white, lunged forward, and his magic wand transformed into a rope that bound Eric. At the same time, the tip of the wand aimed at Eric's brain, attempting to use mental control to delve deep into his mind.
