Kelvin Range Rover pulled into the parking lot and stopped smoothly in a space near the front entrance.
Kelvin turned off the engine and pulled the key from the ignition. "Alright. We're here."
Liam looked through the windshield at the building in front of them.
It was two stories, modern and clean, with wide glass windows that ran along the entire front.
The exterior was dark grey stone with white trim around the edges. Above the entrance, mounted in brushed steel letters, was the name: **Apex Fitness**.
"A gym," Liam said.
"Not just a gym," Kelvin corrected, already opening his door. "The gym."
Liam opened his door and stepped out onto the pavement.
The air was warm, the sun sitting high overhead, bright enough to make him squint for a second before his eyes adjusted.
The parking lot was mostly full. Nice cars. A Mercedes here. A BMW there. An Audi parked two spaces down. Clean pavement. No cracks. No trash.
