Kyle flew back home quietly that night, a smile on his face throughout the flight, and immediately upon arriving home, a screen flashed in front of his face.

He paused and slapped his forehead with his hand.
'How could I forget??'
Kyle was supposed to turn Himiko this night, but her sneak attack had completely caught him off guard.
He sighed and glanced back the way he came. 'Should I go back?'
"Argh," he grunted in annoyance. "Tomorrow, I'll do it tomorrow."
Before Kyle entered his living room, he glared at the system before dismissing it.
'You could have come a little earlier, you know…'
He took out his key and stuck it into the hole, pushing his door open a second later.
The first thing that Kyle noticed was that the lights were still on. His eyes moved through the room, and he spotted Tsumi, lying on the couch, soundly asleep.
Kyle walked up to her and sighed as he watched her. "I told her to get some rest…"
Tsumi always seemed overworked, so the least she could do was sleep properly.
He bent down a little and picked her up in a princess carry. Her raven-black hair fell down past his arms while her head rested softly on his chest.
Kyle took her from the living room to her bedroom, turning off the lights on the way. When he arrived, he gently placed Tsumi on her bed and covered her with the blanket.
"Good night, Tsumi."
He was about to leave when she suddenly grabbed his arm. For a second, Kyle thought she had woken up, but when he checked, she was still fast asleep.
Tsumi's grip on his arm tightened, and her breathing became heavy, cold sweat appearing on her face.
'Is she having a nightmare?'
"No… no… mom! Dad!" She turned on the bed, her chest rapidly rising and falling.
Her voice trembled as her second hand tightened on the blanket. "Don't leave me, please… don't—"
Kyle immediately sat on the bed next to her and soothed her back the way his mother would always do when he had bad dreams, whispering reassuring words into her ears.
Little by little, Tsumi calmed down, her breathing returned to normal, and then her grip on his arm loosened… her hand falling back to the bed.
'I wonder what happened to her to have a dream like this.'
Kyle knew little to nothing about Tsumi, apart from that they had come from nothing… everything around them was a product of her hard work.
They had no parents, and for as long as God knows, she had been taking care of Kyle by herself.
'Is this why she always seems tired? Because of the nightmares?'
Kyle sighed and adjusted her blanket. "Your missing parents, coupled with the terrible brother you had in the past…"
"You've been fighting alone all this time, haven't you, Tsumi?"
Kyle was not the brother Tsumi knew; he was a completely different person, and there was honestly no reason to care.
But right then and there, he decided to find a solution to her nightmares.
'At the very least, she should be able to have a good night's rest.'
After making sure she was okay, Kyle left the room, shutting the door behind him.

The announcement of the upcoming sports festival came with a lot of mixed reactions from the students.
Those in Class 1-B were happy that they would be able to showcase their abilities, but Class 1-A was different.
After experiencing the fight at USJ, that was all they could think about.
Some of them could still remember the reverberations of the clash and the shockwaves that exploded each time their fists met.
Even Aizawa could not fight that monster, and yet that man had defeated it, going on to injure the number two hero Endeavour as well.
One of the people deeply affected by that experience was Izuku Midoriya.
'He had multiple quirks…' Deku mused to himself, thinking back to the fight.
Dual quirks were a possibility because other hybrids like Todoroki existed, but from the way he fought, Deku was sure that he had used far more than two quirks.
The wind attack he used on Endeavour, super strength, the energy punch…
'What would happen if he were to decide to go against the heroes? Could Endeavour really defeat him?'
That man was no hero; he had his own objectives, judging by the way the fight had gone.
All Might was far from his prime, and Deku was meant to be the replacement, yet he was nowhere near good enough.
'I'm weak.'
Deku let the words resound through him, then tightened his fists and screamed, letting out all the pent-up frustration.
He could still remember how he had been frozen in place, not even able to take a step in his presence.
And the thought of it made his blood boil.
Deku right raised his fists, green sparks coursing through his body. "I have to get stronger!"
Next time he met that man, he would not stay still.
First, he had to win the sports festival. If he failed to win…
"Then I will beg All Might to find another carrier for the quirk."
'Japan needs the symbol of peace working at 100% capacity.'
If that person was not him, then as much as it would hurt, Deku would happily pass it over to the next person.
In UA's gym~
Bakugo stood underneath the glaring lights, breathing heavily, his body so hot that steam was flowing from his skin.
He gritted his teeth, his fist tightening just before he unleashed a resounding explosion.
"ARGHHHH!"
BANG!!
He had never been so embarrassed in his life!
"That bastard!"
How was it possible that he was afraid to move?!
BOOOOOOM!!!
Orange flames burst out of his palms, causing the room to tremble, the temperature rising by several degrees.
"I'll make you pay!"

Kyle's intervention in USJ had caused a change in both the heroes and the villains.
Everyone was working harder, pushing their bodies to surpass their limits just because of what they had witnessed.
And their target? The very man who had embarrassed them all.
Meanwhile, at the other side of the city…
"Boss, I'll take the chicken without the toppings!"
Kyle was standing at the counter in KFC, rubbing his palms together, a bright smile on his face as the man brought the chicken bucket.
When he passed it to Kim, Kyle removed the cover and stuffed the first piece of chicken into his mouth, bits of crumbs staining his cheeks.
As he ate, he glanced at the TV on the other side of the.
~ Breaking News!
Notorious vigilante, Nighttale, known to have murdered several members of the villain league, has been found brutally murdered in an abandoned building.
The police department has so far refused to give a statement on the issue, but civilians are worried that this may be the start of a series of violent crimes in Mustafu.
A picture of the man in his mask and one without it was displayed on the screen, and when Kyle saw it, he coughed, nearly choking.
Sakura tensed beside him and took out her handkerchief, wiping away the crumbs from his face.
"P-please eat slowly or you'll choke!"
"Ohh, I'm sorry."
Kyle looked back at the screen, multiple thoughts flying through his mind.
He could remember the mask perfectly well. That man was the leader of the new villain group that had appeared.
From what Kyle remembered, he was very capable, and their group was even powerful enough to contend with the league.
'How did someone like him end up dead?'
Kyle's expression darkened as the reporter continued giving details about the death.
The plot was changing…
He grabbed another chicken and stuffed the entire piece into his mouth before muttering between mouthfuls.
"I downch like thiis…"
