HARPER
Dominic.
He was the last person I expected to see.
I froze as my eyes met his. He looked even better than I had imagined. No signs of losing sleep over me, or overthinking anything that happened in the past few days.
I guessed he really didn't care about me.
"Hey baby…" he said, a pleasant smile formed on his face.
Baby?!
I hissed through my teeth, staring at him sharply. How could he call me that after what he did?
I scowled, about to shut the door as everything he'd done came rushing back to me, but a leg slid between it and stopped it from closing.
"Can we talk?" he asked, looking down at me, his brows creasing with worry.
Before I could even respond, a hand gripped mine from behind and yanked me away from the door.
Clara.
I blinked as she stepped in front of me and Dominic, her feet tapping against the floor.
"What do you want?" she asked in a condescending tone.
"I want to speak to my wife," Dominic said, frowning.
