Seeing Amon stand there like a statue, Mikayla frowned, "What?!"
Coming out of his reverie, Amon cleared his throat, "Well, I'm sorry but I'm not into kids."
"I'M TWENTY FUCKING TWO!! You don't get to call me a kid just because I'm short!" the girl yelled before pointing at Nyx, "Like you're one to talk, dating a twenty year old cat when you're just eighteen!"
"I'll turn nineteen in two months though…"
"LIKE I CARE!! I want a serious answer. Do you like me or not? Do you find me attractive or not?" she said as she turned sideways and bent down slightly, "I might not have tits as big as Nyx's but I believe I have the perfect package for my size."
Amon stared at her in silence and sighed, 'Right, she was the first one to help me with my main quest. Who would've thought that she was a girl… this is a bit sudden but I'm not gonna complain.'
"You're… If you're not pulling my leg, then my answer is yes. Buuuuut!" he said as he pointed at Nyx, "You'll need her permission too and I want you both to be good friends cuz I have no interest in playing mediator."
Mikayla frowned as she glanced at Nyx who was deep in thought, "Hey Amon, who's the strongest here? You right? You have so many items so you should be the strongest."
'Well, even without items I should be stronger than both of you, yes.' he answered inwardly while he nodded in response to her question.
"Then why do you need her permission? What matters here is your opinions and mine. She's just your girlfriend so there's no need to ask her." she said as she gave him a confused look.
Amon glanced at Nyx and even she seemed to agree with Mikayla's words based on the slight nod she gave herself.
'Right… I'm still stuck in my past life. But even then, I don't want them fighting in the future just because I pick whichever girl I want like some P@kemon collector.' he mused and shook his head.
"I know but I want to respect her wishes. She's family." he said and seeing Mikayla's unconvinced expression, he sighed, "Alright listen, how would you feel if I suddenly brought a random girl and gave her all my attention? Would you be happy? Will you be alright with it? I'm still the strongest one here so you can't complain but… what about your feelings?"
The girl thought for a moment before turning towards Nyx and got on her knees, "Please agree… I've liked him ever since I came here. I know he's changed a lot recently but my feelings remain the same. For many months, I've bottled up my feelings… do you know how painful it was to hear you guys do everything I imagined in my head? And you did it right beside me. Now that my secret is out and I don't have anything to hide…."
"Mike or Mikayla, you're a dear friend." Nyx interjected her, making her look up in surprise, "And I could tell you had feelings for him a long time ago so… I won't stop you or him."
"Take that Amon!! Nyx is on my side!" the girl yelled as she got back to her feet in excitement, "So, your answer?!"
"I have no reason to reject a beauty when she readily throws herself at me." he said, acting thoughtful as he moved his gaze to the side.
A mere moments later, the two girls celebrated while Amon watched in silence. It wasn't just them but also the screen that had appeared before him.

"Cuz I'm really good with them and if word spreads, I would be found out by certain people. Well, now that mom already found me…" she said as she raised her eyebrows, 'Did mom tell him about my skill? I don't so…'
"You don't have to hide it anymore." he said and nodded before looking at Nyx, "Do you have any weapon you like more than others? After all, assassins aren't forced to stick to daggers."
Nyx thought for a few seconds before nodding, "Yes, I'm in love with Lion King's gauntlets."
'Ah…' Amon had no answer to that. The Lion King's gauntlets weren't just gauntlets. They could extend and retract three claws, effectively giving the user the versatility of both sharpness and bluntness.
'The ones in the market are trash and I'm still E plus. If I get to D, I should have access to better weapons in the shop… hmm, I guess there's no need to hoard experience right now. System, I'd like to rank up.'
