Outside the school gates —
The five Nakano sisters sprinted toward Sobu High School, the cold air echoing with the sound of their bickering.
"Seriously, Ichika! You're the one who made us late. You said you wanted to clean your room in the morning!"
Nino shouted, her hair fluttering behind her as she glared at her older sister.
"What do you mean my fault? You're the one who woke up late! If you'd made breakfast faster, we wouldn't have been rushing!"
Ichika snapped back, puffing slightly from the run.
"I told you last night I'd probably oversleep! You could've just steamed yesterday's buns and eaten those. I even reminded Miku to tell you!"
Nino fired back, hands on hips.
"…I forgot," Miku muttered quietly, tugging her headphones down. "Yotsuba dragged me out to the convenience store for snacks last night."
"Hey, don't blame me!" Yotsuba flustered, waving her hand frantically. "It was Itsuki who wanted oden! She said she was craving something warm!"
"Me?!" Itsuki pointed at herself, scandalized. "You literally begged me to go with you! You said it was for 'midnight cardio'!"
"Then whose fault is it that we're late?!"
All five shouted in unison.
Their chaotic argument echoed through the nearly empty street.
People passing by couldn't help but glance, wondering if a live drama was being filmed.
A few months ago, after Yotsuba's makeup exam ended in disaster, the Nakano sisters had transferred schools together again.
The reason how they get in Subo High—
Their adoptive father had a patient connected to one of Sobu High's shareholders — and thanks to that connection, all five sisters got accepted.
Now, as they reached at the gates of their new school, panting like marathon runners after a long run.
"Ugh… we made it," Itsuki groaned, bending over and clutching her knees. "I think my lungs are burning…"
They had taken two taxis, but the morning traffic in Chiba had turned into a standstill.
After ten frustrating minutes of waiting, the sisters had decided to run the rest of the way.
As it wasn't that far, but for five girls carrying school bags, it felt like an Olympic event.
"Are we late?" Ichika asked sheepishly, glancing around.
The courtyard was deserted — only a few teachers and guards lingered near the entrance.
Inside the gates, the halls were quiet.
"Definitely late," Miku said flatly, checking her phone. "It's already eight-forty. Classes at Sobu High start at eight sharp."
"No way…" Nino's expression froze. "We're late on our first day?!"
Yotsuba tilted her head, thoughtful—
"Should we… uh… climb the wall?"
"Absolutely not!"
The other four yelled in unison.
"Okay, okay! Sheesh!" Yotsuba raised her hands, laughing nervously. "Just a suggestion!"
Ichika sighed, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "Let's just talk to the guard. Maybe he'll let us in."
As the responsible eldest, Ichika led the group toward the security booth and knocked on the glass window.
"Excuse me, sir? We're the new transfer students at Sobu High. Could you open the gate for us?"
The small window slid open, revealing a scruffy-looking guard who seemed half-asleep.
"Huh? Transfer students?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "Then where are your uniforms?"
"We… haven't received them yet, sir," Ichika admitted, slightly flustered. "We were told to come in today to finalize it."
The guard stared at them for a long moment — five identical faces, each equally beautiful but distinct in clothes and hairstyle.
Then he shrugged and pressed the button to open the gate.
"Alright, go on in. Try not to be late again, though."
"Thank you so much!" Ichika bowed gratefully and turned to her sisters, giving them a thumbs-up. "See? Easy!"
.....
Inside Sobu High—
Once they entered, the five sisters froze in awe.
"Whoa…" Yotsuba murmured. "This place is huge!"
"It's definitely bigger than our last school," Itsuki agreed, adjusting her hairpin.
Before they could take another step, the school bell rang.
Ding—dong!
The sound echoed across the courtyard as the second period break began.
Suddenly, the once-silent halls burst into life.
With students poured out of classrooms, chatting, laughing, and scrolling on their phones.
"Uh, Ichika… where do we go now?" Yotsuba asked nervously, gripping her sister's sleeve.
"The principal's office," Ichika replied. "The guard said we need to meet him first for class assignments."
Miku checked the map on the school's directory board.
"...It's on the sixth floor."
"All the way up there?" Nino groaned. "Ugh… fine, let's get this over with."
.....
Third Floor – Sobu High Hallway,
As they climbed the stairs, passing student around them started to speak with each others in a low voice.
"Whoa, no way. Are those quintuplets?!"
"Are they transfer students? They all look the same—but so pretty!"
"First Shirakawa-san and now this? This school's becoming an anime!"
"I'm in love. Five times over."
The hallways buzzed with chatter. Male students leaned against lockers, gawking as the five sisters passed by. Even a few girls couldn't help whispering to each other, intrigued.
Miku's expression didn't change, but she tugged her hoodie slightly lower.
"I hate attention…"
"Just ignore them," Ichika whispered softly.
Nino, however, looked annoyed.
"Why are these guys staring like they've never seen a girl before? It's creepy."
"I told you, Nino," Itsuki said, pushing up her glasses. "Your temper stands out."
"Excuse me for being normal!" Nino huffed.
The four of the five sister were annoyed at the level of attention they were getting —
Meanwhile, the one with the most energy - Yotsuba was happily waving to every student who looked their way.
"Hi! Good morning! We're new here!"
"Yotsuba, stop making eye contact with strangers!" Itsuki hissed.
The scene was chaotic — as expected from the Nakano sisters.
Fourth Floor – Sobu High Corridor,
Nino's irritation only grew as they climbed.
"Honestly, these boys are staring like monkeys in heat…"
But then—her eyes widened as she suddenly spotted someone.
That back. That white hair. That lazy posture.
"...Wait a second."
She squinted. "Gojo-kun?"
The figure stopped mid-step and turned around.
"Oh?" Gojo tilted his head, with his trademark blindfold. "Nino?"
Her expression lit up instantly. "It is you!"
Breaking away from her sisters, she jogged forward, practically glowing with relief.
"You're here too?! What are you doing at Sobu High?"
Gojo scratched his cheek, smirking. "Didn't I tell you? I'm working here now."
"What—working?!" Nino's jaw dropped. "As in… you're a teacher here?!"
"Yup. Gojo Satoru-sensei, at your service."
He gave a mock salute, grinning like a mischievous child.
"Part-time exorcist, full-time savior."
Her eyebrow twitched. "You definitely didn't mention that before!"
"Are you sure?" Gojo asked, pretending to think. "I could've sworn I said something about it while fighting that curse last time."
"You said, 'I'll be busy doing some boring work for a while'! That's not the same thing!"
Gojo just laughed, shoving his hands into his pockets—his posture as relax as ever.
"Details, details. So, you're one of the new transfer students, huh? Figures. The principal mentioned five new Identical faces this morning."
Behind them, the other sisters quickly caught up.
Ichika smiled politely, Itsuki bowed, Miku gave a quiet "hello," and Yotsuba waved her hand enthusiastically.
"Wait—Gojo-sensei?" Ichika blinked in disbelief. "You're… really our new teacher?"
"Sure am. Lucky you, huh?" Gojo winked. "Don't worry, I'll grade your tests fairly. Maybe~."
"Emphasis on maybe," Nino muttered under her breath.
Gojo clapped his hands once.
"Alright, ladies, let's get you to the principal's office before he assumes you got kidnapped."
"Sounds good," Ichika said quickly, before Nino could start another argument. "Please lead the way, Gojo-sensei."
As they followed him up the final flight of stairs, whispers rippled through the hallway.
"Wait, are those Gojo-sensei's students?"
"Man, that guy's living the dream."
"Gojo-sensei, you legend…"
Gojo smirked to himself.
"Ah, fame. What a heavy burden."
"More like an inflated ego," Nino muttered.
"Still talking like that, huh?" Gojo chuckled. "You haven't changed."
As they disappeared up the stairs, the rest of the students were left buzzing with curiosity.
Five identical transfer students and the most unpredictable teacher in Sobu High — this year was about to get very interesting.
.....
Principal's Office – Sixth Floor,
By the time they arrived, the sisters were completly exhausted.
"Do all schools have this many stairs?" Itsuki panted.
"Welcome to Sobu High," Gojo said proudly, opening the door. "Home of lazy student, Handsome Sensei, and mediocre vending machine coffee."
Inside the office, Hiratsuka Shizuka, the school counselor, was already waiting — sipping her coffee, spotted him, eyeing Gojo suspiciously.
"You're late, Gojo. Again."
Gojo waved it off. "Traffic. Also quintuplets~."
Shizuka sighed. "I don't even want to know."
The Nakano sisters lined up neatly, bowing.
"Nice to meet you, we're the new transfer students."
Shizuka nodded approvingly after sometime— first time seeing a quintuplets—
"Welcome. I hope you'll enjoy your time here — and please, don't let him corrupt you."
"Hey! I'm a model teacher!" Gojo protested.
"Model disaster, maybe," Shizuka muttered.
The quintuplets exchanged glances — half nervous, half amused.
Their new life at Sobu High had officially begun.
And somewhere deep down, Nino couldn't help but think—
If Gojo's teaching here… this school might actually be fun.
