"Gu Yuena, I advise you to clear your head—this is no joke," Goku said, realizing he couldn't break free and switching to verbal resistance instead.
"My mind has never been clearer," Gu Yuena replied coldly. "I need your power—and even more, I need your bloodline!" As she spoke, she condensed a transparent bed out of divine power behind her and whoosh—threw Goku straight onto it.
As if he'd let her have her way that easily. Goku activated Flight and shot into the air.
A flash of ruthlessness crossed Gu Yuena's eyes. With a flick of her slender hand, she yanked Goku straight back down.
"Damn it!" Goku felt his flight field collapse instantly, gravity dragging him down hard.
He locked eyes with Gu Yuena—who now looked like a wolf eyeing its prey—and couldn't believe what he was experiencing.
The normally aloof Gu Yuena was saying things like this—no, she'd already taken action.
And what she meant by "union" was clearly not some abstract concept. She'd even formed a bed out of divine power. Could it be any more obvious?
How was Goku supposed to stay calm?
Still, something felt off. Gu Yuena kept saying she needed his power and his bloodline.
Could it be…?
"Gu Yuena," Goku said seriously, "tell me why you absolutely need my bloodline. Otherwise, even if I self-destruct right now, you won't be able to stop me."
He surged both his qi and soul power together, striking a pose that looked very much like he was about to self-destruct.
Of course, he wasn't actually going to do it—this was pure intimidation.
Gu Yuena immediately halted her advance. Indeed, there was a strange power within Goku that neither divine power nor soul power could forcibly suppress.
That was qi.
Divine power and soul power simply couldn't interfere with it.
"So it was you!" Gu Yuena smiled, lips curling as though she'd discovered a priceless treasure.
Sensing the qi within Goku only strengthened her conviction.
"What power?" Goku asked, genuinely confused. "Di Tian mentioned it. Now you're saying it too. Power this, power that—what are you all talking about?"
His perception of qi and soul power was incredibly refined, yet he hadn't sensed anything unusual at all. That made no sense.
Unless… there was another transmigrator?
Gu Yuena chuckled softly, like an adult watching a child try to lie.
"A few days ago, far from here, an energy erupted—powerful enough to destroy the entire Douluo Planet."
As she spoke, she pointed in the direction of Soto City.
"That energy woke me—and Di Tian and the others—from our long slumber. The moment I awakened, I traced its source."
"To avoid alerting those trash gods in the heavens, I deliberately suppressed my mental power and observed slowly, using continuous divine power."
She explained calmly, reconstructing exactly what she had seen.
Meanwhile, realization dawned on Goku—his eyes gleaming as a memory clicked into place.
"According to my observations," Gu Yuena continued, "there were two forces battling in that direction. One was roughly at the level of a human Titled Douluo, but…"
She paused.
That overwhelming destructive power had utterly captivated her.
"The other force far surpassed even Titled Douluo—and even those trash gods of the God Realm couldn't compare!"
"At the end of the battle, that peerless expert with red hair—who could shatter space with a single punch—crossed his arms and fired a blue beam of light."
"The destructive power of that beam is beyond words. The human Titled Douluo was annihilated in an instant—reduced to particles smaller than dust."
"Even several celestial bodies near Douluo Planet were wiped out…"
Her emotions surged as she spoke, her chest rising and falling noticeably. When she looked at Goku now, there was unmistakable awe in her eyes.
"Isn't that clear enough now?" Gu Yuena drifted forward and stopped right in front of him.
She reached out, pulled him upright, and tidied his disheveled clothes.
By now, Goku understood everything.
That overwhelming power—capable of destroying Douluo Planet and crushing all gods—
That was him.
When Tang Hao had harmed Zhu Zhuqing, Goku had flown into a rage and used a forbidden technique—awakening not Super Saiyan One, but directly transforming into the red-haired Super Saiyan God.
What puzzled him was that he hadn't sensed any mental probing at the time.
But the answer was obvious.
Super Saiyan forms emphasized raw destruction and physical dominance, not laws or mental perception.
And back then, Goku hadn't activated Observation Haki. Overwhelmed by grief and rage over Zhu Zhuqing, he'd nearly lost his sanity.
Missing Gu Yuena's ultra-fine mental probe was entirely possible.
Mental power differed from soul power—it didn't produce obvious fluctuations.
Besides, Goku was certain Gu Yuena withdrew her mental power the moment she saw him obliterate Tang Hao. He doubted she had any interest in watching him and Zhu Zhuqing afterward.
Otherwise, he would've sensed her mental fluctuations long ago.
"If that's the case, then a lot of people must've noticed that power burst," Goku said quietly. "If even you detected it, others on Douluo Continent definitely did."
Especially since, when the forbidden technique was wearing off, he'd sensed a faint light approaching from a distant star system.
That was the God of Slaughter.
"So you finally remembered," Gu Yuena smiled—then suddenly turned serious, so abruptly that Goku almost wondered if she had a split personality.
"The God Realm's enforcer—the God of Slaughter—is racing toward Douluo Planet as we speak," she said, pointing skyward.
Her hatred was unmistakable. After all, it was the God of Slaughter who had split the Dragon God in two.
"If my timing is right, he's already descended upon his inheritance land."
"What?!" Goku exclaimed.
He'd assumed time flowed much faster in the God Realm—but clearly, that assumption was off.
If Gu Yuena was right, then the God of Slaughter was already in the Slaughter City. Goku couldn't help wondering what Tang Chen's reaction would be.
What surprised him even more was that the God of Slaughter had come alone.
Was Goku's power display not terrifying enough?
Why not bring the other God Kings? Or a few first-tier gods?
Complaints aside, Goku didn't want the entire God Realm descending either.
Perhaps the God of Destruction had sabotaged things a little.
After all, that god had ambitions of monopolizing—or even expanding—the God Realm himself.
