Simon Forrester probed, "But what?"
"But how are you going to prevent this from happening again in the future?" Sienna Thornton's voice was stern. "What if it happens again? If your mom uses similar tactics to push you together with Nina Sinclair, can you avoid it once or twice, or a hundred times?"
In her view, encountering a problem is not the issue; the most important thing is how to face it and avoid it in the future.
"Isn't it simple?" Simon Forrester grinned, grabbed her hand on the table, and intertwined his fingers with hers. "We get married quickly, and my mom won't be able to meddle anymore."
"I'm serious!"
"I'm serious too!"
Sienna Thornton was speechless.
Seeing there was no good way to solve the issue, and with Simon Forrester proposing at such a frustrating moment, Sienna Thornton felt both angry and helpless, and she didn't want to talk to him any longer. She got up and went back to her room.
