After sharing some jokes of all kinds, Sienna Thornton was about to turn off the video when Maeve suddenly asked, "By the way, why are you staying at Simon Forrester's place for no good reason?"
"Hmm?" Sienna paused for a moment, "Because of the design project!"
She didn't want to mention Mrs. Reed coming to her door, afraid Maeve would lose her temper and cause trouble for Mrs. Reed, and she'd have to defend Maeve in court, which would be a hassle.
Upon hearing it was just for the design project, Maeve said no more, simply reminding her to be careful, and ended the call.
Waking up, the blazing orange outside swept across the earth. Sienna sleepily watched the sunset, feeling a déjà vu like dusk was morning.
She drowsily put on a thin pink cotton robe and opened the door. The living room was dim, with light seeping from the other side, coming from the dining room and kitchen.
