Simon Forrester's deep eyes curved slightly, as if he was smiling at Sienna Thornton, but no matter how Sienna looked at it, she felt it was a forced smile.
"Not involved?" Simon glanced down at her plastered right leg, the smile at the corner of his lips deepening, "Didn't you ask Harrison Rowe to tell me that I'm responsible for your leg, and that you won't accept care from anyone else but me?"
Sienna had initially entertained the thought of persuading Simon to agree to let Maeve come over, but seeing his unyielding demeanor, she couldn't be bothered to argue further, compromising, "Fine, until Auntie King returns, I'll just have to endure a bit and be self-reliant."
Her main goal was to get the design diagram from Simon, so now wasn't the right time to fall out with him. His demands, no matter how unreasonable, were unavoidable; compared to the design diagram, these were minor issues.
