Chapter 135 - Chapter 135

Akira's money was already in Haruno Yukinoshita's hands, and all the documents had been prepared long ago.

All he needed to do was sign, and the Flash Animation would officially belong to him.

After entering the Flash Animation building, Akira quickly took the elevator up to Sada Kana's office.

Inside, besides Sada Kana, a middle-aged man was present.

Both of them quickly spotted Akira, as soon as he entered the office.

"Hello, Young Master Akira. I am Hayama Ichirou," the middle-aged man said with a polite smile.

"You're Hayama's father? Nice to meet you," Akira replied, extending his hand.

Ichirou smiled and shook his hand firmly.

Then he took a document from the briefcase beside him and handed it to Akira.

"This is the document Miss Haruno asked me to deliver. Please review it," he said.

Akira took the document and began reading.

Haruno had clearly thought everything through.

She had sold all her shares to Akira, and the price remained almost the same.

As for the Yukinoshita family's investment, it was essentially Yukino's.

That investment would go entirely into animation production, and all profits would belong to Yukino and Akira.

In other words, Akira not only bought the Flash Animation but also gained access to a significant investment fund.

After reviewing it, Akira signed and handed the document back to Ichirou.

" Young Master Akira, congratulations on acquiring the Flash Animation," Ichirou said, placing the documents away.

"Thank you. From now on, I hope Hayama can serve as the legal advisor for my company, and help in developing it" Akira said slowly.

"I will do my best to guide Hayato," Ichirou replied, his smile deepening at Akira's words.

After exchanging a few more words, Ichirou left.

As soon as he departed, Sada bowed respectfully.

"Master Akira, congratulations."

"You already know that Future Comics Publishing has acquired a video platform, right?" Akira asked, looking at her.

"Yes, I've been keeping a close eye on the development of it," Sada Kana replied.

"The purpose of acquiring Flash Animation is to establish a exclusive anime section and put all the animations produced by Flash Animation onto it," Akira said matter-of-factly.

"I understand," Kana nodded, suddenly realizing the full scope of his plan.

"If Flash Animation had remained in the Yukinoshita family's hands, it would have been cooperation. But now that it's mine, it's a different story," Akira continued.

Sada immediately understood what he meant.

Flash Animation was essentially a supplier, while Akira's video website was the supermarket. If the company remained with the Yukinoshita family, the Platform would face restrictions.

With Madam Yukinoshita's influence, once the video platform became successful, she would likely used Flash Animation to force Akira to sell a portion of the its shares to benefit the Yukinoshita family.

Even Kana could predict this outcome; Akira was simply several steps ahead.

Even while being Yukino's boyfriend, he remained cautious toward the family.

His sharp mind was evident.

Kana looked at him with a hint of awe.

"Can all Anime produced by Flash Animation be on the video platform?" Akira asked.

"Yes. Flash Animation retains the rights of all the Anime it produced. Even adaptations of manga or light novels can be used after paying a licensing fee to the original authors and investors," Kana explained thoughtfully.

It was simple: whoever invested in the animation received a share of the profits. Several animations had been fully funded by Flash Animation, so President Harada naturally would not give them away.

This was also an opportunity for Flash Animation to profit.

Kana quickly presented a full list of animations produced by Flash Animation since its founding. Akira browsed through it—it contain over two hundred works, all of high quality.

"Can you reach out to other animation studios as well?" he asked.

"Yes, but the animations from Flash Animation are already among the best in the industry," Kana reminded him.

"Sometimes quantity matters more than quality. A website needs a broad selection,"

Akira said, fully aware that Flash Animation's quality was unparalleled, but sheer volume would be crucial for attracting viewers.

"I understand. I'll contact the others immediately," Kana replied.

"We only need to acquire the rights for about five years. By then, Flash Animation and Future Animation (the new animation company they founded) will continue producing high-quality works, and we won't need external content anymore," Akira added.

With a five-year window, the focus could shift from quantity to quality, ensuring long-term sustainability.

...

The video platform had been renamed Flash Video, a title imbued with new meaning:

"Find the bright spots in life."

Akira had come up with this phrase, and Hanada Yui fully supported it.

Sada Kana organized the Flash Animation data and invited other studio presidents to a meeting.

As president of Future Comics Publishing and head of Flash Video, Hanada Yui joined the conference at Flash Animation.

...

Akira sat next to her, reviewing data and selecting animations to acquire.

While, Hanada Yui negotiated licensing fees with each studio president, based mainly on ratings and popularity.

Licensing periods were set at five years, and fees ranged from hundreds of thousands to several hundred thousand yen per animation.

Akira selected the necessary animations (/Anime), handed the lists and prices to Hanada Yui, who then quoted them.

The other studio presidents agreed, and the contracts were signed.

Flash Video paid fifty million yen for five-year rights for over four hundred animations.

While not all were top-tier, they were all worth viewing.

Combined with Flash Animation's own work, the site now held over six hundred animations—a number surpassing most competitors.

After the studio presidents departed,

Hanada Yui reported on the game companies' offerings.

Most 2D games available were buy-to-play rather than online multiplayer.

Hearing this, Akira considered the differences between the worlds.

In his original world, several online games were incredibly popular. Here, the online gaming environment was lacking.

Perhaps creating their own games would be more effective.

Akira was familiar with multiple 2D and 3D games.

By acquiring a game company, he could be able to replicate them.

"Don't worry about games for now. I want online games, not buyout games. Once the Video Platform is established, we can acquire a game company and start development," Akira said calmly.

"Online games? Really?" Hanada Yui looked skeptical.

"Yes. Certain online games fit perfectly with a Flash video platform," Akira nodded.

"I understand," Yui said, though she considered the costs significant. But seeing Akira's determined expression, she knew no one could change his mind.

Sada Kana's observed quietly, thinking strategically.

Flash Animation, Future Comics Publishing, Flash Video, Future Games, Future Animation, and Hoshiyuu Agency—all under Akira's control.

This was like a calculated chess game.

Once every pieces are set, Akira could potentially surpass even the Yukinoshita family.

.....

Leaving the meeting room, Akira made his way to the third studio.

The more he thought about it, the more confident he became in the game plan.

Flash Animation have an abundant of top-level artist.

While, voice actors were secured through Hoshiyuu Agency.

If the game succeeded, it could be adapted into an animation, giving Flash Animation a new purpose.

Manga version would be adapted by Future Comics Publishing.

The revenue from a successful game could exceed that of a top-tier Manga. Players would spend money on every new draw update.

Of course, not all Gacha games were worth the investment.

The plot had to captivate players, with compelling characters and storylines. Promotion could include new characters entering the draw gradually to maintain interest.

Arriving at the third studio, Akira was greeted by Kanae Takahashi.

"Congratulations, Akira, on your outstanding achievement. I heard about it from Nanako," she said warmly.

"Thank you. Its success owes much to your guidance, Kanae. I am very grateful," Akira said sincerely.

"I only offered a few words. Without your own effort, none of this would be possible. The results are yours," Kanae Takahashi replied, blushing.

"How's your manga going?" Akira asked.

"My Manga won the Newcomer Award," she answered automatically, then her face quickly flushed red.

She realized Akira knew about her manga. To avoid his attention, she had applied to another publisher. Though not as prestigious as his works, it had potential to become a bestseller.

Regardless of the money she could earn from Manga, animation remained her ultimate goal.

Making Manga are just a hobby for her.
