The story returns to half a day earlier...
On the first half of the Grand Line, at Port 16 of the Sabaody Archipelago, the dawn light was just breaking. A pirate ship bearing the mark of the Beasts Pirates surfaced, the massive bubble that had carried it from the ocean depths bursting with a soft pop.
"Yahoo!" An excited cry immediately echoed from the deck.
"Brother Jinbe, it's so beautiful! This is the Sabaody Archipelago from Oden's journal!" Yamato shouted, her eyes wide with wonder as she stared at the giant, bubble-producing mangrove trees. "It's just as beautiful as he wrote... no, it's even more beautiful!"
On the deck, Jinbe watched the girl, a look of disbelief on his face. If Marco hadn't told him personally, he never would have believed that the fearsome Yonko Kaido had such an innocent and charming daughter. He found himself a little flustered by her cheerful calls of "Brother Jinbe."
"Hahaha," Jinbe chuckled, scratching his head as his face turned a little red. "That's right, this is Sabaody. If you set sail from here, you should be able to find Ace. Here, this is for you."
He took a small piece of paper from his pocket and handed it to Yamato. She accepted it with a serious and curious expression, noticing how the paper miraculously pointed in a single direction no matter which way she turned it. Her eyes lit up with recognition.
"Brother Jinbe, I know what this is!" she exclaimed. "It's Ace's Vivre Card, right? I read about them in Oden's diary!"
Jinbe was stunned for a moment before letting out a hearty laugh. "I'm surprised you know about that. Yes, that's Ace's Vivre Card. As long as you follow its guidance, you'll be able to find him. From here on, you'll have to travel on your own."
"Don't worry," Yamato said, carefully tucking the Vivre Card into her sash. "Thank you so much, Brother Jinbe. I really appreciate all your help."
"No," Jinbe shook his head. "There's no need to thank me. I was just passing through. By the way, do you have any money with you?"
"Yes, yes, I do! Brother Marco prepared everything for me on the ship," she said, patting a pouch at her waist. "I have plenty of Berries."
"That's good." Jinbe then took out a Den Den Mushi and handed it to her. "Take this. It's my personal Den Den Mushi. If you run into any trouble, you can contact me with it. Although, with your strength, on this sea..."
As he spoke, a thought suddenly struck him, and his expression shifted.
"What's wrong, Brother Jinbe?" Yamato asked, noticing his change in demeanor.
"It's nothing, just something I remembered." Jinbe's face grew very serious. "Yamato, with your power, there aren't many pirates in Paradise who can threaten you. The climate here is also much milder than in the New World. But there are two things you absolutely must pay attention to."
He raised a finger, his tone grave. "First, while you're very strong, you must still be careful if you encounter a Marine Admiral. It's best to run if you can. They are opponents that only people like your father or Whitebeard can truly fight."
At the mention of her father, Yamato's bright expression instantly darkened.
"The second thing," Jinbe continued, his voice low, "is a group of people right here on this archipelago that you must not provoke, no matter what. They are the World Nobles: the Celestial Dragons."
"Celestial Dragons?" Yamato frowned. She had never heard that name before. "Are they stronger than the Admirals?" she asked innocently.
Jinbe paused, momentarily unsure how to explain. After a moment of thought, he said, "No, they aren't powerful at all. In fact, they look very weak. But they are the rulers of this world. Even the Admirals must obey their commands."
He felt his explanation was a bit vague, but Yamato seemed to grasp the concept. "Is it like... what that old geezer Kaido does in Wano Country?"
Jinbe sensed the pain in her voice. "That's about right. But... and it feels strange to say this... compared to the Celestial Dragons, your father could almost be considered a good person."
"Eh?!" Yamato was stunned, unable to process his words. In her mind, her father was the worst person in the world. She couldn't even imagine what someone worse than him would be like.
Jinbe didn't want to elaborate further. "You just need to remember that the Celestial Dragons are the most vile, ugly, and evil people in this world."
Soon after, Yamato and Jinbe parted ways. Her mood was initially a little low after their conversation. She was realizing for the first time that the outside world was different from what she had imagined. There were people in the world who were actually worse than Kaido.
But her gloom didn't last long. As the sun rose higher, the Sabaody Archipelago came alive, transforming into a dreamlike landscape. Yamato was completely captivated. There were so many things she had never seen before: magnificent bubble-coated buildings, a soap bubble park filled with laughter, Ferris wheels, bustling shopping streets, roller coasters, and bubble cars floating through the air. And the food! There were all kinds of snacks, treats, and candies she had only ever dreamed of.
Yamato felt like she couldn't possibly see and do everything. Fortunately, she didn't forget her main goal: finding Ace. After spending the morning exploring in a happy daze, she decided to find a place to eat before heading back to her ship to leave the archipelago.
Yamato quickly chose a restaurant. It was the most crowded and lively one she could see, so she figured the food must be delicious. As soon as she stepped inside, she immediately drew the attention of the other patrons.
"Hey, look, that girl is so beautiful!"
"Whoa, are those horns? She has horns on her head!"
"Really? Maybe they're just decorations!"
"Her hair color is amazing..."
"And her outfit is so unique. I've never seen anything like it. Hey, wanna go talk to her?"
"You go ahead, I don't dare. She doesn't look like someone you should mess with. Did you see that weapon at her side?"
"It's a spiked club... and it looks really heavy."
"And she's so tall! Is she part of the Giant race?"
Yamato paid no mind to the whispers and approached the waiter with a bright smile. "Hello! Please bring me your best food!"
"Oh!" The waiter saw a big spender and, charmed by her politeness, immediately agreed with a smile. Before long, Yamato's table was covered with a feast. She immediately dug in, eating with gusto.
In a corner of the restaurant, another group was secretly watching her.
"Hey, Big Sis, this woman is a big eater, just like you!" a young man whispered.
The "Big Sis" he was talking to was a petite girl with pink hair, wearing a white vest and a green hat. She watched Yamato intently. She didn't know who the tall woman was, but just from her size and the massive weapon she carried, she could tell she was incredibly powerful.
An idea sparked in her mind. She sneakily smeared some saliva on her eyelids to look like tears and then ran over to Yamato's table.
"Sister, I'm so hungry," she cried, putting on a pitiful act. "I haven't eaten in days..."
