Anna was hurrying to the school which Tim and Lukas visited. She had stopped visiting school after the eighth grade and that is over 2 years in the past. For that reason, she did not know she was over 2 hours early.
In the distance the school came into focus. "It's open!" She muttered. The doors were being held open by a chair taken from a classroom. Anna walked past the chair, entering the school building.
Her eyes darted from side to side, scanning for Lukas and Tim. The halls were empty, only the janitor and a handful of teachers were visible.
"What are you doing here?" A teacher asked her confused, "Who is your homeroom teacher? What class are you in?" The teacher was walking towards her, his heels making a tapping sound while he walked. He was balancing his mug filled with coffee on a bunch of books and documents. "11th grade? 12th?"
"Not in this school, searching for a friend." Anna said and brushed past the teacher.
The teacher's feet slipped on the wet and freshly mopped floor and he dropped his coffee onto the ground, the mug shattering to pieces. "Get back here!" He screamed while she hurried away.
Anna continued hurrying down the halls. "If I remember correctly his class was around here." She said, ignoring the teachers talking to her. She started reading signs while walking past room after room. "No, no, no…" Then she saw it," Bingo."
She kicked open the door to make a cool entrance but the room was empty. Only the homeroom teacher was sitting inside, his naked feet on the table while he was cleaning in between his toes. It was disgusting to see how the dirt just flew around, sometimes even dropping into his coffee.
"Where… is everybody?" She asked, her eyes narrow and her breakfast coming back up her neck.
"What do you mean? School starts at 8 in the morning, it is not even 6 yet." The teacher just continued doing what he was doing. Then he noticed Anna's gaze of disgust. "Relax! I'm gonna clean that after I'm finished."
"Okay…"
"Leave now please. Tim isn't coming to school for a week or ten." He said, waving her away.
"How—"
"How do I know? Tim draws your face sometimes."
"Oh… I didn't know that." Anna left the room, closing the door behind her. She was sneaking back out of the school when her phone vibrated. "It's 6. Gotta hurry!" She yelled and just bolted back out of the school.
"That's her! She broke my mug!" The teacher from earlier yelled after her, a security guard next to her.
Anna lifted her hand and, without looking back, presented her middle finger. "FUCK OFF!" She screamed.
