6th May 2051,
The subject has returned and the contents of his diary are being documented as well as tests are being done to see if he had sustained any abnormalities from staying the Project location for an extended period of time. The next step would be taken by the research director after the test results come out.
8th May 2051,
Subject has been given permission to return to the project location, he is being equipped with an inflatable boat and resources which could help his survival in the world. He has also been allowed to bring weapons noting the potential dangers, specifically an Arming Sword, a Katana and a Long Sword made with infused metals that are relatively lighter in comparison to normal weapons of it's find. He was also given a hand gun in emergency needs but was introduced to not use it unless life threatening situations were to arise. One of the newer under testing device for sending stress signals across the world named, "Marker" was also given to subject in case of emergencies return. He was instructed to survive for at least 3 months before using the "Marker" to contact us and return unless an emergency. He was given another diary to write his journey in as contact will be lost once through.
9th May 2051,
Preparations are completed, progression with sending the subject to location.
Following logs are from the Subject's diary-
Day 1,
Returning to the Whale's stomach, I went to the Village before leaving to explore the rest of the world. I went straight to them and told them that I would be leaving early morning. The Chief asked if I would join them for one last ritual before leaving. I agreed and preparations began.
As the night grew darker, everyone sat around a bonfire holding hands and chanting. They were saying
"To live is to Suffer
To suffer is to Learn
To learn is to grow
To grow is to live"
After that, I ask the Chief why this was done and he told me that they give a farewell of this kind on funerals and when someone leaves the village behind for adventure or to return to what is waiting for them. They never know if the person who left survives or do not as mostly no one returns back. Understanding it I climbed up to the top of the Whale and stayed there till dawn.
Day 2,
At dawn, I made my way to the side of the Whale just before it's next feeding. Inflating the Boat and waiting for when it starts to decend. As soon as it starts going lower, I make my way to the water and start to paddle. Good thing we were near land that I was able to reach the shore quickly. Getting off, I certainly didn't have an idea where I was but one thing was sure which was that I was lost in a dense forest with no way of really known if I was going to towards any form of civilian. Having no real options, I started walking blindly though the forest using my knife to mark the trees as I when past them making sure walk in a straight line giving the fact that this forest could have been magical or something.
Walking for hours, I couldn't find anything. The forest extends miles, even climbing trees didn't help me see the end of the forest. Deciding to rest, I climbed a tree hung my stuff and slept on the tree to prevent animal attacks as much as possible. I also setted up a rope trap to see what might fall.
Day 3,
I certainly didn't have a comfortable sleep, but waking up to a girl shouting while being caught in my trap was not in my bucket list of tasks I wanted to do during the 3 months I was staying here. She sure was pissed from being hung upside down for a few minutes, but didn't just start whaling at me. I had a conversation with her and found out we both were lost. I was lost because of being from another world but she was lost with a map and it turns out she was also reading it upside down. I explained by calling myself a traveller who got lost because of not having a map of the area.
Following the map was not too difficult. After several hours of walking, scouting and also a break. We were able to reach the closet town. We were extremely tired but alive and still a pity that I couldn't see or record one of the fantasy creatures that could be in that forest. We did encounter animals like deers, squirrels and a few other small creatures.
Day 4,
After rest, I progressed to looking around the small town. It really was coming to me that this world was extremely similar to Medieval fantasy novels and games. Even if I couldn't really see any other humanoid which is seen in fantasy related subjects but I was able to know from some other travellers that they do exist. I also decided to take on a "job" which is commonly known as Adventurers in fantasy media. I wanted to collect samples of their currency and also buy stuff like a book on the monsters here or something before I had to return.
Day 7,
The last few days were... exosting. I was to get ny hands on 2 silver coins doing some of the tasks around the place. Being able to buy a map and a book on the monsters with commonly known information in it. The monsters and creatures in the area ranged from goblins to... Forest Trolls which were found deeper in the forest around caves or small camps can be seen. Even if it didn't give too much details it was certain the creatures here were similar to the fantasy media but had traits which made them very unique. I wanted to check them out for myself but the closest to be found creatures would be a species of goblins called Tree Goblins and Cave Goblins. Noting their behavior pattern from the book, the Tree Goblins are morning dwellers with fast movement in the trees and usage of weapons like darts, a more green skin color and a height of around 2 feets while the Cave goblins were night dwellers with gray skin and are bigger than normal goblins with a height of 4 to 4.5 feets.
