Chapter 1 - Chapter 1:The beginning and ,the end of a life?

Everything begins with a boy named Valker, 16 years old, 1.68 meters tall, with straight brown hair and dark eyes.

In the past, when Valker was six years old, he was abused by his father, Edgar, and his mother, Aliza. They always took their frustrations out on him, blaming him for everything or hitting him physically and hurting him emotionally.

Valker would come home after a day at school only to find the door locked. He tried to call, and his mother appeared.

Aliza: I sent you to run a single errand and you didn't do it. You're good for nothing. You'll have to stay outside until I say you can come in. You won't have lunch. —She slams the door in his face—

Valker tried to open the door, but it wouldn't budge. He decided to apologize, but his screams fell on deaf ears, and he stayed sitting on the sidewalk for a long time.

An hour later, Valker was still outside, watching people and cars pass by. His stomach growled from hunger, as no one had given him food. Four minutes later, he saw his father's car arrive and became scared, since Edgar might be angry from work stress. Valker tried to hide, but his father found him.

Edgar: Useless son! You had to get in the way! —He began hitting him while saying hurtful things—

Valker: Dad, please, my temp…

Edgar struck him in the temple, causing him to lose consciousness.

Edgar stood up satisfied, not caring about his own son's condition, and then entered the house as if nothing had happened. None of the bystanders said anything; they simply kept walking, ignoring Valker.

Eight hours later, Valker regained consciousness and began to cry and scream.

Valker: —WHY?! —he sobbed— WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?! SHOULD I HAVE NEVER EXISTED?! —He covered his face with his hands as tears fell— Would everything have been better if I had never been born?

But he remembered his grandfather Alaker's words.

Alaker: Don't give up, my grandson. You are very valuable. No one is more or less valuable than another. No matter what others say; their opinions are irrelevant. What matters is your opinion, your decision. You decide your destiny. And remember: even if everyone mistreats or ignores you, not everyone will. There will always be someone who reaches out and gives you the support you need. You just have to keep going, walk that path with pride. If you stay firm without straying from the path, in the end, you will see how everything you went through was worth it. You just have to be patient and not fall into the abyss.

With that memory, Valker got up from the sidewalk, wiped his tears, and showed a determined look.

Valker: I'll leave home when I have enough supplies.

Thus, upon turning 16, Valker saved money, packed his things, and waited until nightfall when everyone was asleep. He was in his room eating some rice he had taken from the fridge, as no one had given him food that day. While eating, he heard his parents in the kitchen.

Valker: This is my only chance at freedom —he whispered to himself—. I won't back down.

He stood up, went to the window, opened it, and looked at his room one last time.

Valker: Even if it sounds crazy, I'll miss it… it was always my refuge, where I could cry or scream. —He smiled and then climbed out the window.—

His mother, Aliza, came in and saw him leaving, shouting.

Aliza: SON! WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?!

Valker just laughed as he ran with his things, ignoring his mother's protests. Finally, he escaped his prison and savored freedom, though he didn't expect what would happen next:

Valker: HAHAHA! I'm finally fre…

A white truck speeding by ran him over, ending his life instantly.

Afterwards, Valker opened his eyes and felt himself floating in darkness and emptiness.

Valker: Where am I? —he thought, looking around— I'm… dead?

He looked at himself and noticed his body was transparent. Minutes later, everything became strange.

Valker: What… what is happening? —He heard strange noises—

GLITCH!

HFUU!

Valker lost consciousness again. When he opened his eyes, he found himself a kilometer in the air, plummeting. He tried to fly, believing he was a spirit, but he failed and began moving strangely.

Valker: —AAAAAAAHHHHH!
