It doesn't take them long, but they eventually reach a large hill that looks over kingdom. The kingdom is surrounded by walls followed by many gaurds at the gates and the towers. Art makes a camp and starts thinking of a way to get into the kingdom. Lutin then suggests.
"Hey, how about this?. I'll try to craft a talisman that can make you invisible for a bit"
Art asks how is he going to make it and Lutin answers.
"All i need is a few twigs and rocks. I'll apply a spell that's gonna keep you between the spiritual world and the regular world. As long as you're inbetween them no one can see you and for me, i'll just sneak in. But it will take me at least two days to finish it and it's only temporary, so you need to be fast"
Art nods and Lutin starts crafting the talisman.
Two nights go by and Lutin is working his butt off. Art stayed awake throughout the entire process. Around the morning of the third day, Lutin tells Art that he is done crafting. Art gets up from a tree log and crouchs down near Lutin. He grabs the talisman and trys to put on. Lutin stops him and says.
"Wait until we are close, we don't want to waste time trying to get to the gate"
They leave the camp and go to the gate. Once they got there, Art put his hood on and wears the talisman, he then sneaks through the gate and goes into a dark alleyway. The talisman breaks and Art becomes visible, Lutin gets there and Art asks.
"Why did the talisman break so quickly?"
Lutin answers.
"First of all, it's because you're not a spirit.
Second of all, you have way to much mana, the talisman couldn't handle it"
Lutin then hides inside Art's hood and says "come on, lets check this place out"
Art leaves the alley and starts walking through the crowded streets. He then see a young cat-boy, yelling out "get ya latest news here!!" Art walks up to him and says "hey kid, tell me what's going today?" The kid looks at him and says while smiling "prince Daron and the wolfbloods are going to have speach, tomorrow morning" the kid then hands his hand out to Art. Art looks at the kids hand and pulls out a gold coin from his bag, he then flings it at the kid and walks away. The kid surprised by a gold coin looks at Art as he is walking and says" m-mr, this is a gold coin!!....(thank you)" As Art is walking around he notices an inn and decides to go in. He walks up to the innkeeper and asks for room. He pays for a day and grabs the key, he heads upstairs to the room, he goes into the room and locks the door. He takes all of his gear off and puts his sword near the bed, he then lays down on the bed. He faces the ceiling, with his hands on his chest, he grumbles in pain. Lutin rests and covers himself with Art's hood. It doesn't take long until Art falls asleep. All he could hear is his younger saying "mom….am tired" his mom says"it's okay, you're strong."
He wakes up, a tear going down his face. He tlits his head to the window on his right and see Lutin sitting next to it. Lutin looks at Art and says.
"Morning. You slept all day"
Art gets up, his eyes are a little drained. He grabs a paper and writes the breakfast he wants, he then slides it under the door and waits a bit. The door knock and he hears a girl saying "mr, your food is ready!" Art tells her to leave it in front of the door. She puts it down and leaves. Art slowly opens the door and checks if the hallway is empty. He the grabs the food and locks the door behind him. He then puts it on the table and sits on the chair. Lutin fly's and sits on the table. After they finish eating, they go down to the innkeeper and give him the key. They both leave the inn and head to the kingdom center. The place is crowded, Art starts squeezing his way through the crowds. He eventually gets close enough to see the stage. At the top of the stage. A tall humanoid markhor with a cloak and scaled armor. Next to him are two wolfkin, the female has two wolf ears, a tail, beautiful redish eyes, soft sliver fur and hair with a hint of blue. For the male, he has more wolf-like features, but he is pretty much similar to the female, except he has a more serious face, while the female has a relaxed face with a small smile.The wolfkin start talking to each other with lowered voices. The female says.
"Fario, brother. Should i be the one to give the speech?"
Fario says.
"Fenria, please can you just let me do this?. You did the last two speeches"
She nods and starts looking at the crowd.
Fario looks at the markhor and says.
"My speech will begin right now, do you want to say something prince Daron?"
Daron says no and Fario walks up and starts talking.
"Good morning, citizens of Emberwind. It's an honor to have you all here. I stand here today, to thank you all for helping us make this knigdom reach new heights. Without you, this kingdom would have been nothing but a dream. But now that this dream has come true, we want to keep this dream alive and make sure it never dies"
He keeps talking, while Fenria starts smelling something strange. She starts looking around and see a hooded man, she tells her brother to stop and points at Art telling him to come up stage. Art slowly walks towards them, while hearing people whispering. He gets onto the stage and stands in front of her. She asks.
"Are….you a wolfkin?"
Art answers.
"No, but what makes think of that?"
She replies.
"You smell like us. Could you please take your hood off?"
Lutin hides in Art's bag. Art slowly takes his hood off and everyone is shocked. Whispers grow much louder between the people. Gaurds raise their weapons at Art. Fenria slowly walks up to Art. She stands in front of him and starts grabbing his face. She examines his hair and eyes. Fario says to Daron "he somewhat looks like us". Fenria keeps examining Art, Art gets uncomfortable and slaps her hands away. Everyone is shocked and the gaurds are about to attack him. Daron asks Art.
"Human, what are you doing here?"
Art looks at him and says.
"I got something for you"
He reaches into his bag, but the gaurds are getting closer to him. Art looks at them and tells Daron "tell your gaurds to back off" Daron signals them to back away. Art gets a letter out of his bag and hands a to Daron. Daron reads the letter and stands in his place thinking. He then tells one of the gaurds to bring him his weapon and says to Art.
"I'll approve this letter if you could last against me in battle"
He tells Art and everyone else to follow him to the colosseum.
