Years later, the peace Chucky had built began to crumble.
Resources dwindled. Fear returned.
But Obrigado's heart burned with a single purpose — to uncover the truth about Zaid.
One storm-choked evening, Obrigado and Pxco journeyed to the ruins of the final battlefield.
Ash covered everything. The scent of rust and death hung in the air.
"Brother," Pxco said, covering his mouth, "this place stinks of the dead. Why are we here?"
Obrigado knelt, brushing dust off a buried plate. "Because the truth sleeps here."
His hand stopped — beneath the ash lay a pale arm, untouched by time.
A tag on its wrist read: RUKA – Lab Commander, Zaid's Science Division.
"Ruka…" Obrigado murmured. "She served under Zaid. If I can revive her, she might know what really happened."
"Revive?" Pxco stepped back. "You mean with the alien serum?"
"Not that one," Obrigado said, holding up a silver-blue vial. "This is Soul Regenesis Serum — my version. It fuses alien nanotech with human DNA. It can rebuild a body… maybe even its memories."
Pxco frowned. "Or destroy us."
Obrigado smiled faintly. "Then let history judge me."
They carried Ruka's remains to an abandoned lab buried under the ruins. Orgondo's old generator sputtered to life, filling the room with a trembling hum.
Obrigado injected the serum. The vial pulsed with light, flooding the lab with silver fire.
A heartbeat echoed.
Ruka's eyes snapped open — glowing faintly white.
"Where… am I?" she whispered.
Pxco stumbled back. "It worked."
"You're alive," Obrigado said. "I brought you back to learn the truth."
Ruka's gaze trembled. "Alive? I remember… the betrayal. The explosion…"
Then her voice broke. "Zaid didn't start the war. He tried to stop it."
Obrigado froze. "What did you say?"
"Project Omega," she whispered. "Humans created it — a plan to control alien DNA, to make gods from flesh. Zaid discovered it and rebelled… but the world called him traitor."
The truth hit like thunder. Obrigado fell to his knees. "So… humanity destroyed itself."
Ruka nodded weakly. "If you truly seek peace… don't repeat our sin. Zaid's spirit still lives. Find it… before it's too late."
Her eyes dimmed. The lab went dark.
Obrigado clenched his fists. "Thank you, Ruka. I'll find him."
Pxco looked at his brother. "Then the war isn't over."
"No," Obrigado whispered, staring into the glowing vial.
"It's only just begun — the war for truth."
