In his room, Haejin sees the message.
Sees the hashtag.
"Shit."
He didn't think anyone would notice. Didn't think cameras would catch it.
Should've known better.
Gleams miss nothing.
His phone rings. Manager Park.
He answers. "I know. I saw."
"Do you understand what you've done?"
"I looked at a wall."
"You looked at a wall fifteen times during one dinner. On camera. Gleams are speculating. The hashtag is trending worldwide."
"I'll be more careful."
"You need to be more than careful. You need to be invisible about this. Whatever this is."
"There's nothing—"
"Don't lie to me. I've been managing you for close to eleven years now. I know when something's happening."
Haejin doesn't respond.
Manager Park sighs. "Look. I'm not saying don't... whatever. Just be smart. Cameras are everywhere. Right now, millions of people are trying to figure out what you were looking at."
"I'll handle it."
"See that you do."
The call ends.
Haejin stares at his phone.
