The morning session continued. More witnesses.
The other makeup artists who'd been recruited and then kidnapped. Each telling similar stories. Recruited with promises of money. Asked to sabotage HAEL. Threatened when they tried to back out.
Then came AUREYA staff members.
"The prosecution calls Yun Sooyoung."
A woman in her forties stood. She looked nervous but determined.
After being sworn in, she sat.
"Ms. Park, what is your position at AUREYA Entertainment?"
"I'm a senior administrative assistant. I've worked there for eight years."
"Did you have any interactions with the defendant, Kang Jiwon?"
"Yes. She worked as a personal assistant for about thirteen years ago. Lasted maybe longer than most."
"What were your impressions of her?"
Yun Sooyoung hesitated. "She was... efficient. Maybe too efficient. She seemed to know things she shouldn't have known. Access codes. Meeting schedules. Private information."
