"I don't think so. He just knows his father died in an accident."
"And it needs to stay that way."
Manager Park turned.
His expression was hard. Determined.
"Haejin cannot know that his father's death was murder. That it was connected to Jiwon. That this entire situation exists because of revenge for something that happened fourteen years ago."
"But—" Soorin started.
"No." Manager Park's voice was firm. "He's already dealing with being framed. With his career being destroyed and trying to get it back up. With people he trusted betraying him. Adding his father's murder to that?"
He shook his head.
"It'll break him."
Soorin wanted to argue.
But she couldn't.
Because he was right.
Haejin was barely holding together.
"What about justice?" Jihoon asked quietly. "Sejin was murdered. That's a crime."
"And Jiwon will face charges. For kidnapping. For the recent murders. For everything she's done now."
Manager Park's jaw clenched.
