Her ghostly wailing echoed across the entire terrace.
Lucas looked at her helplessly, quickly handing her tissues, then stared as she wiped away tears that didn't actually exist.
"Sophia, calm down. She was talking nonsense."
Sophia kept sobbing dramatically, full of grievance.
"But she sounded so reasonable! I'm not even a young girl anymore—I already have six kids! Tell me, what normal person suddenly gets pregnant with six at once? I cared so much about my figure back then. I kept working out nonstop. And today—today someone actually said my body's gone out of shape! If it were you, could you take that? Could you?!"
Sophia stared at the hand she was counting on, her lips pouting deeply.
