"Stop filming! Stop it, now!"
Noah shielded Olivia as they rushed into the hospital room.
"It hurts… Noah, my face—it hurts so bad!"
Olivia clutched her cheek, trembling with fear. Her face was her career, her life. If it was ruined… what was left for her?
Noah slammed the door shut, blocking the paparazzi outside.
"Calm down. The doctors will handle it—you'll have surgery soon."
"Surgery?!" Olivia's voice broke, panic rising. "No, I need a mirror. I want to see my face!"
But before she could grab it, Noah snatched the mirror out of reach.
"Sit. Still." His tone was sharp. "The scans are done. The doctor's on the way. If you want your face back, Olivia, don't move an inch."
Tears streamed down her cheeks—each drop stinging as it crossed the open cuts.
Outside, security drove off the paparazzi.
