"I swear to you, Luce," Elio drew closer to him. "I have no idea what this bastard is getting at. I did not–"
The door opened forcefully, and Natalia dashed in.
Vittorio followed behind her, and shut the door when he was fully in.
"Where is Val? What is this I hear about her?" She questioned anyone that cared to answer, tears already dropping down her eyes.
"I should be asking you," Luciano said to her. "She's your best friend. She must have shown you signs of wanting to leave. Except what I'm supposed to gather from this is that she was forcefully taken. Which is highly unlikely, considering there is no sign of struggle in her room."
"No, she didn't," she shook her head. "She didn't show me any–" her words trailed into silence as a thought crossed her mind.
"Why are you quiet? Do you know something?" Luciano impatiently questioned.
