There was a little girl who was smiling brightly after managing to escape from the Government agents.
Her name was Bonney, the adopted daughter of Bartholomew Kuma.
She clutched a tiny compass in one hand and a map in the other. Her bright pink hair fluttered in the wind as she murmured softly, "Father… where are you?"
Beside her sat an older man, a friend of Kuma from years past when Kuma was still a king. Now, he served as Bonney guardian and navigator. He glanced at her worried expression and sighed.
"You've got that look again, kid. We've been searching every island on this route for months. Maybe it's time to look somewhere else?"
Bonney nodded firmly. "He's alive. I know it. I can feel it. Let's check another place."
The man chuckled quietly, then his tone turned serious. "There's something I should tell you. About Kuma, he was part of the Revolutionary Army, under a man known as Monkey D. Dragon."
Bonney blinked. "Revolutionary Army… Dragon?"
"Yeah. Monkey D. Dragon, the leader of the Revolutionary Army. Kuma was one of his top men. If anyone knows where he is, it'll be Dragon."
"Dragon…" she whispered. She'd heard that name before, the man who dared to challenge the World Government itself.
The old man unfolded a newspaper. "This paper says Dragon was last seen in Loguetown. If he's sailing with his son, there's a good chance they'll arrive at Cactus Island."
Bonney looked at the newspaper and the map for a long moment, then clenched her fists. "Then that's where we're going."
Meanwhile, somewhere far away on the Grand Line…
Bartholomew Kuma gazed across the ocean, his expression calm. In one hand, he held a newspaper. The front page showed the face of Monkey D. Luffy, smiling beneath his straw hat.
He traced a finger over the picture.
"So it's true…" he murmured in his deep, quiet voice. "You really are his son… Dragon."
For years, Kuma had secretly watched over the boy while serving in the Revolutionary Army. But even he hadn't expected this, that the child who trained endlessly on Dawn Island was Dragon son.
He looked down at the map spread across the stone beside him. A single island was circled in red, Cactus Island.
"If Dragon is moving with his son, maybe he'll go there," Kuma muttered. "And if that's true… I'll take a look."
Then he activated his Nikyu Nikyu no Mi, launching himself into the sky.
In an instant, Kuma's towering figure vanished, blasted away like a cannonball heading straight toward Cactus Island.
GOING MERRY
Everyone of them are training like a madman except Jack, he can't use haki so he didn't train with them. Instead he used this time to build a new Vibranium suit V3 and this time he added only for his suit the function similar to observation haki.
The device he added is Iris, it function is similar to observation haki so he can react to enemy movement like them.
But he didn't have enough data, he need a help from Dragon to fully used Observation haki and the device will captured the wavelengths record.
After finish the Iris he plan to give it to dragon so he can record the data, instead what he saw is all of them are tired and eating on the kitchen.
Jack walked to them and sit beside Zoro.
"Zoro, do you want to make your swords stronger and unbreakable?" asked Jack, leaning back in his chair.
Zoro stopped mid-bite from his rice bowl, his single eye narrowing slightly. "Unbreakable? You saying you can do that?"
Jack nodded. "Yes. I can transmute your swords with one of two metals... Vibranium or Uru."
Sanji glanced up from grilling fish nearby. "Oi, oi, don't tell me you're gonna make his swords glow next."
Jack ignored him and continued, "Vibranium absorbs impact and energy. It's nearly indestructible... perfect for defense. Our suits are made from it, which is why they're great for protection.
Uru, on the other hand, is harder and more reactive to energy and magic. It enhances a sword power, and I believe your haki will flow through it more smoothly."
Zoro's eyes lit up with quiet interest. "So, Vibranium for defense… Uru for power."
Jack nodded. "Exactly. But you can't mix both. You have to choose one property to dominate your weapon. Vibranium is more defensive, while Uru focuses on offense."
Luffy leaned forward excitedly, pieces of meat hanging from his mouth. "Zoro, choose the shiny one! Make it super cool!"
"Shut it, Luffy," Zoro muttered, then turned back to Jack. "Can you do that to all my swords?"
"Yes. You want to upgrade all of them?" Jack asked.
"Nope. Leave Wado Ichimonji alone. Just upgrade Yubashiri and Sandai Kitetsu," Zoro replied.
Jack folded his arms, tilting his head. "Wado Ichimonji… that one's special, isn't it? Someone important gave it to you?"
Zoro's grip tightened on his bowl. "Yeah. It's the only thing I have left from her. I'm not changing that one."
Jack smiled faintly. "Then we'll leave Wado Ichimonji untouched. But your other two — those we can upgrade. I recommend Uru. You're a fighter who lives by offense."
"Then make it Uru," Zoro said without hesitation.
Nami raised a brow, intrigued. "And where are you getting these metals from? Or are you planning to transmute them yourself?"
"You're clever, Nami. Yes — hand me your swords, Zoro," said Jack.
Zoro passed over his two swords. Jack unsheathed them and began channeling his power, changing the blades into pure Uru metal.
Everyone stopped eating — even Dragon and Bartolomeo paused to watch.
Zoro's hand rested on the hilt of his newly transformed sword. "So… this Uru stuff — you sure it won't change how my sword feels?"
Jack placed a hand on the metal, golden lines spreading across his arm. "It'll still be your sword, just stronger. But once fused, it'll resonate with your haki. You'll need to adapt."
Zoro nodded once. "I can handle it."
Jack smiled and continued his work. The once ordinary metal transformed into a brilliant, otherworldly material.
When it was done, everyone gasped in awe.
"Zoro, the blade's lighter now — and it won't react to magnets," said Jack, handing the swords back.
"That's… awesome!" shouted Luffy.
Zoro stared at his sword with a rare, satisfied smile. "I really want to test it right now."
