"So that's what's going on." With his powerful divine sense, Grandmaster Ruu scanned the entire Planet Uyan and found Chaos monsters wreaking havoc across the world.
"But how did they get here?" Seeing the Uyan World under attack by Chaos, Grandmaster Ruu fell into deep thought.
Although Planet Uyan is a small world, it currently lies close to the Rucant System, the Economic Hub of the Verse. Countless powerhouses are stationed there, and they should have noticed the changes on Planet Uyan by now, even if it is cloaked by a World Barrier.
To get a clearer picture of the situation, Grandmaster Ruu opened a small hole in the World Barrier without alerting the enemy who had deployed it.
Stepping outside Planet Uyan, he saw the world shrouded in dark mist, its surface corroded by the forces of Chaos.
"Where am I?" Scanning the surroundings, Grandmaster Ruu realized he was in a completely unfamiliar Zone.
"Who has this much free time?" he muttered sarcastically, as his gaze shifted to the Uyan System. The entire star system was bound in massive chains, pinned motionless in space.
A feat like this required not only an immense amount of energy but also thousands of years to accomplish.
Digging deeper, Grandmaster Ruu found the one who chained the Uyan star system.
"Interesting. A path forged from both Ki and Law… and he has even undergone a second transformation. But this should be the end of his road." Using his Soul Power, Ruu pierced into the Chaos being responsible for binding the Uyan star system.
"Why do I feel like someone is watching me?" The Chaos being suddenly turned, scanning the surroundings. Yet, he found nothing.
"Perhaps lingering here too long is affecting me. I should return to Chaos to recover."
Retracting his Soul Power, Grandmaster Ruu once again swept the entire star system, searching for any accomplices.
Not finding any other strong aura nearby, Grandmaster Ruu was about to take action. But then, out of nowhere, he felt a bad premonition. For someone who had reached the pinnacle of the Soul Path, Grandmaster Ruu's intuition was razor-sharp.
"What could it be?" he muttered, wondering what was causing his sixth sense to flare. So, he began scanning Planet Uyan.
"So, that's what's going on." After a month of scouring every inch of the world, Grandmaster Ruu finally discovered the mastermind behind it all.
Deep within the planet's core, a Chaos demon was steadily weakening the World's will.
"What is your purpose?" Spying on the one-horned demon, Grandmaster Ruu couldn't figure out why a Chaos being would waste so much time.
If he wanted, he could have easily devoured the Will of Uyan. So why was he slowly weakening it instead?
"I should just look into the history." Using his powerful Soul, Grandmaster Ruu began peeking into the River of Time.
Although time-travel was forbidden, there were no restrictions about peeking into the past or the future.
Before long, the entire history of Planet Uyan unfolded before Grandmaster Ruu's eyes—from its birth to its eventual destruction.
"Fascinating. Corrupt half of the Will while leaving the rest intact, so no one notices.
If he succeeds, Chaos will gain an untraceable hidden base." Grandmaster Ruu was astonished by the one-horned Chaos Demon's plan.
Looking at the history of the planet, Grandmaster Ruu discovered that Chaos had been actively invading the world for more than three thousand years.
The Uyan World, originally a small world without a single Transcendent, should have fallen within days.
But instead of devouring it outright, the one-horned Chaos Demon sent waves of low-level cannon fodder to frighten the Will of the World into bestowing its power upon chosen heroes. He then hunted them down and killed them, slowly gaining authority over the world.
At present, 48% of the Uyan World was under his control, while the rest still operated under the World's Will.
In just a few years, once he reached 50%, he would be able to terraform the planet into a breeding ground for Chaos demons.
Yet Grandmaster Ruu also noticed something unusual about the future. Soon, a Uyani child carrying the luck of the entire race would be born, capable of overturning the current fate of the Uyan World.
Leaving a speck of his Soul behind, Grandmaster Ruu silently departed from the Uyan star system without alerting anyone.
He would have loved to stay and personally witness the birth of the one carrying the luck of an entire race, but he had an important task to complete.
After leaving the Uyan system, Grandmaster Ruu drifted through space for twenty years before finally coming across a planet that might house a teleportation formation.
Although countless life-bearing planets existed in the Verse, only a fraction could afford such formations.
"Your Excellency, you are entering the territory of the Nuf Empire. Please identify yourself."
As Grandmaster Ruu neared the Nuf star system, a massive Ki Rabbit manifested before him.
"Nuf Empire?" Grandmaster Ruu searched his memories but recalled no such force.
Then again, there were millions of forces across the Verse led by Second Transformation Transcendents.
Seeing the Cosmic Dragon remain silent, tears welled in the Were-Rabbit's eyes. She could not understand why such a powerful being came after her Empire.
Four hundred years ago, she had been lucky enough to seduce a young Were-Monkey with a powerful bloodline. Sucking him dry gave her the boost she needed to cross the final hurdle and undergo her second transformation.
After becoming an Immortal, her standing within the Tribe rose, and she finally fulfilled her long-cherished dream: becoming Empress.
