Unlike how Yujiro thought that a Senju having good luck is a miracle, most people in the Senju clan didn't think the same despite knowing of Tsunades and Hashiramas reputation as big fat sheep.
It's that they had their own supernatural theories about the matter.
In the end Yujiro's shock by Mujin's luck was cut short when the next match began.
Hyuga Yujiro versus Wawari Hachisaki.
Honestly, Yujiro was not very excited to fight him, the reason for this was because he saw his previous fight against Takekumi.
And in that fight his skills and potential jutsus were revealed, as such Yujiro didn't think much of his opponent.
'He doesn't have any jutsu that he can use to threaten me, the only potential jutsus that can cause me harm are the boil release jutsus.
But he can't use those jutsus in offense yet, he's not proficient or powerful enough yet to do that
So when it comes down to battle, I will have to be the attacker.
But because of his boil release, I'm restricted to long range attacks.
But he is exhausted so I can just trade chakra with him to defeat him.
It should only take around 15% of my chakra to defeat him, and 25% at maximum, but that's only if he fights in the most optimal way, but if he does fight like that, he can only consume my chakra, without a chance of victory.
In reality, it should take at most 10% of my chakra to defeat him.
If that's the case, I should have around 67% chakra remaining to defeat Mujin.
And as Mujin used a lot of chakra in the previous fight, with all of the clones and the hidden mist jutsu, even if he is under the effect of a soldier pill, at most he will have half of his chakra for the next fight.
So even in that fight, the worst I can do is to simply trade chakra with him since my reserves surpass his.'
After Yujiro made such a judgement, he started to trade chakra with his opponent.
He continued to use lightning jutsus to constantly harass the Ame genin, forcing him to constantly upkeep a 360° water wall around him.
So when his chakra dropped below half, he became desperate and launched himself toward Yujiro, while constantly weaving hand signs for different jutsus.
The purpose of these jutsus was to block Yujiros barrage of lightning jutsus.
'So in the end he couldn't take it anymore and took the worst option.
But its good for me, after all, I can now save some chakra instead of wasting it on him.'
When Yujiro finally saw his opponent rush towards him, he didn't show that anything was wrong.
But just as the Ame genin was 15 meters away from him, he made his move.
First he threw 5 shuriken infused with chakra.
Then he rapidly weaved hand seals for two different jutsus for the same time, and although the Ame genin didn't recognize what he was doing, he felt that something bad was going to happen.
And to validate his feelings, when he dodged the shurikens to the only direction without any shurikens, he felt like his feet were grabbed by incredibly strong hands, while he saw over a hundred earth spears appearing from the ground.
And to destroy any hopes he had, the ground didn't only stop at grabbing his feet, his whole body was on a countdown to being swallowed into the ground, and at this point, even if he used water or boil release, with his strength neither would be able to block the earth spears completely.
So in the end surrendering was the last option, unless he wanted hundreds of piercings.
At the end he sighed.
*Sigh "I surrender!"
When he yelled this, Yujiro immediately stopped the about to be launched earth spears, otherwise, he would have been subjected to some kind of punishment.
While Yujiro was dispelling the jutsu and putting the earth spears back into the ground, the Ame genin was consoling himself.
'Haa, while I didn't get the first place, atleast I got to the semi finals in Konohas chunin exams, that's pretty impressive for a small village ninja.'
But while he was consoling himself with such thoughts, the reality of the matter was that the Ame genin had been a chunin in Amegakure for over two years for now.
So his consoling did little to hide his immense disappointment.
After all he had thought of himself as a sort of unmatched genius in the Rain village for a long time.
This was due to him never seeing the wider world, and being stuck to a village like Amegakure which has nearly no bloodline limits, let alone clans to support those bloodlines.
After the Ame genin left the arena, Mujin was requested to come down so the finals of the chunin exams could start.
And when he came down, Yujiro immediately started to spout nonsense.
"Hey Mujin, you did a good job with the hidden mist Jutsu.
But if this tournaments matchups would have been random and you were against Hyori, would you have made yourself both deaf and blind to counter her Genjutsu?"
"Or would you have spammed clones and dig yourself underground to avoid her Genjutsu."
"Or would have you…"
While Yujiro was spouting nonsense in the middle of the match Mujin was too annoyed to banter back with him in the middle of the match, so he launched an attack before Yujiro could spout out anything embarrassing.
When Yujiro saw Mujin launch an attack to prevent him from embarrassing him anymore, he couldn't help but chuckle and think about their past while he dodged Mujin attacks.
'Hehe embarrassed are you? But I don't think this little embarrassment is even close to the little pranks I and Hyori pulled you when our team was just formed.
Back then your skin was quite thick, but now that I'm going to joke a little bit of your and Hyoris relationship, you immediately jump out like a cat whose tail was stepped on.'
While Yujiro was still musing about the jokes he was going to tell Infront of the whole stadium, Mujin face had already turned black.
'Damn Yujiro, you're probably even thinking about more jokes you can play on me while you ignore my attacks!'
