----------------------------------------------------------

After extracting Crocodile's ability, Loki casually threw the apple, which had turned into a Devil Fruit, to Emiya.

Emiya frowned and took a bite of the apple.

Ugh... It was just as disgusting as before.

Fortunately, it only took one bite to get the Devil Fruit's power. If he had to eat the entire apple, Emiya would have honestly refused.

A few seconds after eating the Suna Suna no Mi, Emiya

gained the ability of the Suna Suna no Mi.

With a thought, his right arm turned into a flurry of sand, and some of it flew into the air and was detonated by Emiya's control.

This, of course, was not the ability of the Suna Suna no Mi but the Bomu Bomu no Mi.

When the countless grains of sand exploded, the power was cataclysmic, filled with flashes of fire that directly vaporized the top of the Rain Dinners casino, leaving not

a single piece of rubble behind.

The next moment, Emiya absorbed enough sand and turned it back into his arm.

It could be said that the Suna Suna no Mi and the Bomu Bomu no Mi combined allowed Emiya's strength to increase even further. The combination of these two fruits was not as simple as one plus one.

With this ability, Emiya could even challenge a Warlord of the Sea.

He could even defeat most of them.

But there was a very interesting aspect to Devil Fruits: the cost of using the ability was not Psychic energy or magic, but stamina!

Although Emiya's stamina had improved significantly on his journey, it was still within the human range. Using the abilities of two Devil Fruits at once was a huge test of his stamina.

Emiya estimated that if he fought using both abilities, his stamina would be depleted in just three to five moves, leaving him vulnerable to being killed.

This was crazy.

What was the difference between this and Megumin from Konosuba? At most, he could last a few more moves than her.

Emiya even felt that if he wanted to use the combined

power of the Sand-Sand and Bomu Bomu Fruits to create a destructive force comparable to Megumin's Explosion magic, a single move would completely drain his stamina.

Emiya couldn't help but shake his head. It seemed that having more Devil Fruit abilities wasn't necessarily better. What was best was having an ability that was suitable for you.

He created an apple and turned to Loki. "It's your turn.

Can you be gentler this time?"

Loki nodded. She took the apple from Emiya with one hand and grabbed his hand with the other.

In an instant, the familiar tearing sensation returned.

But just as Emiya was about to scream, Loki suddenly let

go of him and said, "Get me another orange."

"What?" Emiya gasped for air, not understanding.

Loki explained with a smile. "The abilities of the two Devil Fruits have fused with your body. If I want to extract them, I can only extract both at the same time. I can't separate one from the other."

Emiya was speechless.

What could he say? He just created another orange and handed it to Loki.

After Loki extracted both abilities in one go, she infused

them into the apple and the orange, respectively. She then put away the apple and handed the orange to Emiya.

Then, she used a bit of divine power to heal Emiya's body.

Emiya was instantly back to full health. He looked at the orange Loki had handed him, his face filled with conflict, but he finally ate it and regained the ability of the Bomu Bomu no Mi.

After all, this ability was a perfect match for his

Psychic energy.

However, Emiya didn't create a flawless Suna Suna no Mi and eat it because his stamina couldn't handle two powerful Devil Fruits.

Then, Emiya asked Loki, "Do you want me to create a Suna Suna no Mi for you?"

Loki shook her head. Since Emiya could already create the Suna Suna no Mi, she wasn't in a hurry at all. Her gaze casually turned to the entrance of Rain Dinners' VIP room.

"Should I call you out?"

Emiya followed Loki's gaze and saw a tall, black-haired beauty walking out of the entrance. She slowly said, "I mean you no harm."

She had seen everything that had just happened in the casino hall, from Loki's defeat of Crocodile to her ability to extract Devil Fruits.

The woman was a million percent unwilling to provoke this mysterious group.

"Nico Robin," Emiya immediately recognized the true identity of the tall, black-haired beauty. He wasn't surprised to see her here.

After all, she was Miss All Sunday of the Baroque Works.

When Robin saw that she had been recognized, her face instantly turned pale.

But Loki's gaze wasn't on her. Instead, she looked at the main entrance of Rain Dinners. "You should come out now, too."

Emiya was stunned. There was someone else?

Thump thump thump...

Footsteps came from outside, and a tall man walked in.

He had short black hair, a goatee, and a scar shaped like an "X" on the left side of his forehead that extended to both eyes.

The man was wearing a light purple kimono with a black-and-purple sash, a purple scarf around his neck, white gauntlets on his hands, bandages wrapped around his arms, and wooden sandals on his feet. He was holding a cane sword.

The moment Emiya saw the man, he recognized his identity.

His attire was simply too recognizable.

He was the future Marine Admiral, Issho, also known as Fujitora.

Of course, Fujitora was the alias given to him by the

Marines. His real name should be Issho.

"My apologies, old man. I only heard that Rain Dinners was a good casino and wanted to try my luck. I didn't intend to spy on you all," Issho said, bowing slightly after he walked in.

Emiya looked at Loki and couldn't help but say, "This must be your doing, right?"

"What are you talking about?" Loki said, smiling.

When Emiya saw her smile, he knew his guess was right.

"There are so many casinos in the world, yet we just happen to run into Issho here. You can't say it's not your fault. You know, he usually operates in the New World and rarely comes to the Grand Line."

Issho shook his head.

"Old man was just curious when he heard Crocodile had opened a casino. I didn't come here specifically to see you. Although I don't know how you heard my name, I've never seen any of you before."

He was quite confident in his memory. This was the first time he had met Emiya and the girls.

Emiya chuckled. He believed Issho, but he was certain that Loki had something to do with his appearance here.

Loki said with a smile, "You're overthinking it. I didn't interfere."

"Do you think I'll believe that?"

"That's because you don't understand gods. I told you, I want to recruit families in this world, so my luck will play a role. The powerful people in this world who can be recruited by me will appear before us one by one."

Emiya was speechless.

He had never imagined that luck would be at play.

"You gods are really..." Emiya shook his head, not wanting

to say any more.

Issho heard Emiya and Loki's conversation but didn't believe it, thinking they were trying to trick him.

Loki smiled and offered Issho an invitation.

"You heard what I said. What do you say, Issho? Do you want to become my family?"

Issho's face turned serious. "Are you a Celestial Dragon?"

"Hey, even I would get mad at hearing that," Loki said, sounding like she was joking. "Comparing me to that bunch of trash? If it were the old me, I would have burned you to ashes."

For some reason, Issho felt a chill run down his spine, and his body became stiff.

It was as if she could take his life at any moment if she wanted to.

Emiya saw this and said to Loki, "Ignorance is bliss, Loki."

Loki nodded and said, "That's true. Ignorance is bliss. I'll let it slide this time, Issho. Listen carefully, I am a genuine god."

The chill in Issho's heart gradually faded. He was silent for a moment before shaking his head.

"In my opinion, there are no gods in this world. If gods really existed, there wouldn't be so many filthy things in this world."

However, these words made Loki laugh out loud.

Issho said with displeasure, "Is what I said so funny?"

Loki said, "Of course it's funny, Issho. The good and evil

in this world aren't decided by gods but by humans. You are the masters of this world. Why should the evil you do be blamed on the gods?"

Issho said, "...But, God loves the world..."

Loki interrupted him before he could finish.

"God loves the world's greatest lie. Because God has never said those words. You humans just gave them to God without permission."

"And in the eyes of many gods, humans are foolish and arrogant. Their lives are short, their thoughts are filthy, and they are like worms on the ground, a bunch of irredeemable trash..."

Issho couldn't listen anymore. "Is that also what you think?"

"Of course not," Loki said decisively. "Unlike those gods, I like humans very much. Otherwise, I wouldn't have come down from Heaven to the human world to form my own family."

"Family?"

"A god bestows a blessing on humans. Anyone who accepts my blessing is my family."

Nico Robin's heart stirred. For all these years, she had been running around and hiding, struggling to survive in the darkness, all to escape the World Government's pursuit.

Now, a woman who claimed to be a god said she was

looking for a family. Her heart was instantly moved.

Whether this woman was a god or not, her power to crush Crocodile showed that she was very strong.

So Nico Robin quickly took a few steps forward and said, "Lord Goddess, can I join your family?"
