Chapter 45 - Chapter 45: Assassin World, Templar Knight!

A month later. It was the familiar Mount Everest again.

Morin's vacation was a real vacation. He traveled everywhere, thoroughly relaxed for a while, and even expanded his network of contacts.

Even though he was about to leave this world, just like with the Fast and the Furious world, Morin would eventually return.

After all, the major events hadn't started yet, and Morin had many opportunities to get huge experience points.

As for when they would start... Morin looked at the system interface and focused his attention on the star representing the Fast and the Furious world.

He could clearly see five bright spots on that star. Based on the fact that he left after Fast Five, these were the time points for Fast and Furious 6, Tokyo Drift, Furious 7, The Fate of the Furious, and Hobbs & Shaw.

By spending ten experience points, Morin could return to the Fast and the Furious world at any of these specific time points he chose.

However, Morin wasn't planning on going back yet. Once he experienced it, it was truly over, and there would be no chance to start over.

He preferred to have some people he considered friends, or who were indeed friends, waiting for his return.

Having no attachments is like being a rootless weed.

"As expected, no matter how many times I see it, it's still spectacular," Morin said, looking at the sunrise over the sea of clouds in the distance.

Although most of what Morin told Chris was made up, the part about cleansing his soul was not. Morin wanted

to keep himself in a state of humility, knowing his place.

To achieve this, relying solely on self-psychological suggestion was far from enough, especially since the world Morin was in was full of ordinary people, and there was no one like him.

Since people couldn't feel awe on their own, they should look to nature. The power of nature is beyond human reach.

Standing at the peak, looking at the endless sea of clouds, and imagining the vastness of the universe, he felt he was less than a speck of dust, which filled him with a sense of reverence.

"I still have to play it safe. Unless I have 100% confidence, I will not be reckless!" Morin thought to himself.

After successfully suppressing the overconfidence that came with his physical fitness almost doubling, Morin, with a thought, used his one opportunity to open a new world.

In an instant, Morin found himself in the star sea again.

"Come to think of it, this scene is clearly more shocking," Morin said, watching the endless star sea spin.

"Who created this system? Why does it have such terrifying power, and why did it choose me? Thinking about it this way, there's no way I can get

overconfident..."

Every effect has a cause.

Since the system exists, there must be a being that created it.

Such a thing couldn't have been born naturally, could it?

"Every gift of fate has a price secretly marked. What will I have to pay? What can I pay?"

Morin only thought about this for a moment before giving up on the idea. Speculating without any evidence was meaningless and a complete waste of time and mental energy.

All Morin could do now was seize every opportunity to become stronger, until he could reach a level where he could uncover the truth behind it all.

The star sea stopped spinning, and as before, a star separated from it and came to Morin.

[World selected: Assassin Movie World (Wanted, The Mechanic, John Wick, The Mechanic: Resurrection, Assassin's Creed, John Wick: Chapter 2, John Wick: Chapter 3 Parabellum) (Note: The order is arranged for this story. If the movies don't explicitly state the in-movie timeline, the release date is used to determine the event's time.)]

[Please select a travel location.]

[Please select a new profession.]

"It's another series of worlds, an assassin series..." Morin muttered. "Will all the future worlds be like this? Hmm...

I should choose first."

"I choose to travel to the alley closest to the home of the protagonist of Wanted, Wesley." After Morin made his choice, he looked at the profession options.

"FBI Police, CIA Agent," Morin gave these two options a quick glance and ignored them. He looked at the third one. "Templar... Knight?"

In less than a second, Morin chose the [Templar Knight] profession.

[Location confirmed, new profession selected. Travel

begins.]

In the blink of an eye, Morin found himself in an alley.

"Hmm..." Morin decisively turned off his sense of smell, then walked out while checking his new [Templar Knight] profession panel.

He had this level of body control when he reached the human limit.

The so-called limit is perfect control, so there was no

problem with Morin being able to do this.

Speaking of the movie Wanted, we must talk about the protagonist, Wesley. His life in the beginning was more than just unsatisfactory.

He lived in a tiny apartment, about ten square meters, next to a train track, and would be woken up every time a train passed by.

He was constantly arguing with his girlfriend. His so-called good friend... would always come over to "take care" of his girlfriend when he wasn't home, taking care of her in a very thorough and intimate way.

At work, he was also harassed by his overweight female boss.

Because of his assassin bloodline, he often experienced symptoms similar to mental excitement, which were actually rapid adrenaline secretions, and he had to take tranquilizers every day.

However, it's worth noting that even after taking tranquilizers for so many years, Wesley's assassin bloodline was still so powerful that he was able to fight against a top-tier assassin from the very beginning.

This shows his extraordinary talent.

Of course, this had nothing to do with Morin. No matter how strong Wesley was, he was just a slightly stronger ordinary person.

Compared to Morin... it would only take one punch.

What Morin needed to do now was figure out what this new profession was all about!

He didn't choose FBI and CIA because he felt these two professions were too similar to the IRS, and they weren't as interesting or as powerful as the IRS in the real world.

Since that was the case, why not choose the [Templar Knight] profession, which seemed very interesting and was clearly the opposite of the assassin profession?

The moment he saw the Templar Knight profession panel, Morin was speechless.

[Templar Knight, Novice (0/10)

(The Templars, an organization that has existed for countless years, fought the bloodiest and most intense battles against the Fraternity of Assassins to protect the order of humanity. Every Templar Knight is an elite of the elite, a being capable of rivaling an Assassin Master!)

Title bonuses:

1. [Novice Knight Bloodline] (It is said that the Assassin Bloodline is similar to our Knight Bloodline? Hmph, a fallacy. Ours is clearly stronger!)

2. [Novice Stealth Technique] (A knight should act like a knight! If you can't even stealth, how can you call yourself a knight?)

3. [Novice Backstabbing Technique] (This is a righteous backstab!)]

What kind of Templar Knight is this?! This is a Templar Assassin, right?! And what exactly does this profession do? Don't special professions get a more professional description? Why can't it properly explain how to make money, damn it!!
