Chapter 19 - Fight with Vasco

NOTE

________________________________________________________________

Guys, I wanted to ask your opinion. Would you like the protagonist to travel to other fantasy worlds? I don't know about Murim-type worlds, like Legend of the Northern Blade, or Leveling with the Gods, or maybe even an anime?

Tell me in the comments, I'll see you there. By the way, I want to add that at least the celestial restriction is nerfed for the time being. After all, I think if it were fully implemented, the protagonist could easily erase all lookism.

Without further ado, enjoy the episode! :)

I love u guys,Thank u for your support!

SWISH

Vasco threw furious punches, each blow seeming more desperate than the last. His arms moved with impressive speed, but they were clumsy and predictable. With each failed attack, his breathing became heavier and sweat beaded on his forehead.

Seo Joon watched him with a relaxed posture, as if he were witnessing a boring fight. He didn't even have his guard up; he simply relied on his keen eyesight and senses to dodge by slightly tilting his body.

Seo Joon moved imperceptibly, gracefully dodging each attack.

In the end, he sighed inwardly, disappointed at how disgustingly weak Vasco was, but eventually he understood. At the beginning of the plot, all the characters were, by and large, extremely weak and bad at fighting. For example, Vasco's peak came when he began his hellish Muay Thai training.

As for Daniel Park, he didn't know how to fight. At first, he knew two or three moves. It wasn't until later in the Hostel Saga that Daniel Park began to shine. Knowing this, Seo Joon prepared to quickly finish him off. Of course, he'd have to moderate his attacks; he feared he'd blow Vasco's head off if he fired at full force.

But he doubted that would happen. Although he possessed the Heavenly Restriction, it hadn't fully awakened, to the point of being comparable to that of Toji Fushiguro and Maki Zennin. Perhaps, like them, he would only unleash his full potential when embroiled in a life-or-death battle.

"Is that all you've got? Weren't you going to teach me a lesson? Hahaha," Seo Joon said with a sneer, as a blow from Vasco grazed his hair.

Vasco gritted his teeth, his frustration growing. "Shut up, damn it! Justice will always triumph over evil!" Vasco continued to attack furiously. Seo Joon felt the slight increase in power in Vasco's blows, though commendable, it was still useless.

"...."

"What do you think, Jace? Do you think Vasco can win?" Daniel Park asked with concern, seeing how each of Vasco's attacks was fruitless.

Jace watched the battle in front of him and responded nervously.

"Seo Joon isn't weak, that's obvious. After all, he already defeated Vin Jin and Zack, two people who are far from weak, but I'm still confident that Vasco will emerge victorious. He never loses when push comes to shove."

Hearing Jace's words, Daniel Park nodded slightly as he continued to watch the battle with a twinkle in his eye, mentally recording Seo Joon's every attack and dodge in his mind.

"Come on, Seo Joon, crush him!" Doo Lee shouted as he watched the battle.

Yui Kim, who was watching this, smiled sweetly; her eyes shone even brighter at Seo Joon's heroic behavior.

.....

At that moment, Seo Joon stopped dodging as he saw Vasco's rectum approaching and smiled mockingly.

Seeing this, everyone frowned. Daniel Park, the most puzzled, looked at Jace and asked, "What's wrong? Did he get tired?"

Jace shook his head. "I don't know, but I highly doubt that's what happened."

"..."

The people present watched in complete silence, almost as if waiting for the inevitable outcome. Seo Joon, motionless in the face of Vasco's uncontrolled fury, remained calm, his gaze fixed on the attacker.

"Is this all you've got? This is really disappointing," Seo Joon thought with pity, seeing the rage in Vasco's eyes.

Vasco, with a whistling sound cut through the air by his fist, threw a direct punch, intending to hit Seo Joon's nose. But just as Vasco's fist was about to reach its target, Seo Joon, with supernatural agility, jerked his hips backward in an exaggerated manner.

His torso bent backward in an almost impossible curve, protecting his head from the seemingly fatal blow.

The look in Vasco's eyes reflected surprise at such a maneuver, but he didn't have time to process it. At that moment, Seo Joon smiled slightly, his face calm as ever, disinterested and somewhat arrogant.

At that moment, a fatal move came to mind.

"Why don't you let them see Hajime no Ippo's Hawk special attack?" Seo Joon thought, savoring the moment as time seemed to slow down, his eyes glittering slightly. His body was disgustingly talented; pulling this move off would be a piece of cake.

In the blink of an eye, his right arm began to rise from the ground, gaining momentum like a whip. The air swirled slightly with its strength, as Seo Joon's arm rose as he twisted his hips with dangerous fluidity to add more power to the movement.

The air was thick with tension, and at that moment, Jace, Daniel Park, and all the Burning Knuckles opened their eyes wide, sensing what Seo Joon wanted to do.

"Quick, Vasco, dodge!" Jace yelled in panic, but it was too late.

BANG!

The impact was so brutal that the sound echoed like thunder. Vasco didn't even have time to react. The force of Seo Joon's punch, delivered with the precision of a master, struck Vasco square in the face.

CRASH

The sound of Seo Joon's fist breaking the air and then slamming into Vasco's face echoed throughout the rooftop.

Vasco, still stunned by the most absurd position he had ever seen, froze in shock, unable to defend himself. He could only watch as Seo Joon's fist grew larger and larger. The blow was like a train.

His head was brutally pushed back as if a rubber band was being pulled taut and then released. At that moment, his vision went completely blurry. The force of the blow left him breathless and his mind blank. His body swayed like a broken puppet before falling to the ground with a dull thud.

Doo Lee, Yui Kim, and Doo Lee's three other friends, who had been watching with their mouths open, broke the silence with gasps and cheers of amazement.

On the other hand, their burning knuckles were paralyzed. Everything had happened so fast they couldn't even process it. Seo Joon, still in his almost acrobatic stance, remained upright, his eyes shining with an eerie calm.

Seconds later, he returned to his original position.

...

"You can fight like that?" Daniel Park murmured in disbelief, his voice trembling, his eyes still in disbelief at what had just happened.

Seo Joon, with impressive calm, took a cigarette out of his bag and lit it with the lighter. He inhaled deeply, enjoying the smoke, and then exhaled a spiral of white smoke into the air. Without even turning around, he spoke in such a relaxed tone that he seemed indifferent to everything happening around him.

"Hey, Jace, take him. When he wakes up, tell him not to bother me again."

Jace, who had been watching the fight with wide eyes, breathed a sigh of relief. "I thought this was going to get complicated," he thought, relieved that Seo Joon wasn't making things difficult for them. Apparently, Seo Joon is a calm person, or at least he thinks so for now.

He ran to Vasco, giving him one last look before he picked him up with difficulty.

Seo Joon, with a slow, lazy movement, looked at Daniel Park, who was still stunned, as if he still couldn't process what had just happened. "And you, Daniel, do you still feel like fighting?" The unexpected and direct question brought Daniel out of his daze.

Without a second's thought, Daniel quickly shook his head, paling as he recalled the force of Seo Joon's blow in the fight. "No... no, of course not..." he said quickly, approaching the Burn Knuckles to help carry Vasco. The sound of his hurried footsteps echoed through the floor.

Seo Joon, showing no emotion, watched the scene silently, a faint look of contempt in his eyes. A guy who doesn't even have the courage to change... That's why I prefer Hobin as the protagonist. At least he's looking for ways to improve.

Without making the slightest effort to stop them, he allowed the others to take away the unconscious Vasco and the hypocritical Jiho, whom he had seen had ill intentions toward himself in the fight, but to whom he paid no attention; after all, an ant is still an ant no matter how hard it tried to change.

Doo Lee approached with a smile, gently patting Seo Joon on the shoulder. "Bro, you're really strong. You defeated the head of the architecture department so easily..." His voice was full of admiration. "I definitely think you're the strongest in the school."

Seo Joon, still holding the cigarette between his fingers, took a deep drag; the smoke rose in a white cloud as he thought, "Ha, the strongest? What a joke! It should be you, Doo Lee. The boss behind the scenes," Seo Joon thought sarcastically.

"Hey, man, you should stay away from that guy, Park Jiho. At first glance, I can tell he's not a good person. It's best not to mess with him," Seo Joon said.

Doo Lee frowned, surprised by the words, but after thinking about it for a moment, he nodded. "Well, I'll keep that in mind." It was clear that Seo Joon's opinion mattered to him, and the weight of his judgment made him reflect on his words. After all, he wasn't stupid, and someone with Seo Joon's strength wouldn't bother lying to him.

At that moment, Yui Kim trotted up to Seo Joon and hugged him tightly, as if she didn't want to let go. The sound of her labored breathing and the faint sound of her hurried footsteps filled the space as she approached.

Seo Joon was speechless for a moment, his gaze lowered, unsure how to react.

"You were great back there, very manly, really!" Yui Kim said, her gaze fixed on Seo Joon with an almost... yearning expression. The tone of her voice held a spark that Seo Joon couldn't ignore; after all, if a beauty threw herself into his arms, who was he to refuse?

Seo Joon, unsure how to respond to Yui Kim's compliment, simply nodded, "Thank you." Seo Joon scanned Yui Kim's curvaceous body, and his eyes lit up slightly.

"Should I travel to another world when I get home to kill time? It wouldn't be a bad idea. After all, there's still a long way to go before the Dog God meeting starts. Besides, I doubt it'll take me long to figure it out. After all, all those Dog God types are easy to handle." Seo Joon pondered this for a moment. The more he pondered the idea, the more feasible it seemed.

....

As soon as the school bell rang, announcing the return to school, Seo Joon started walking through the hallways, noticing the glances directed at him. He could hear the murmurs around him, and it didn't surprise him that his fame had grown after his fight with Vasco.

This guy was quite famous, so defeating him would bring him some fame, that was something he knew from the start.

Upon arriving at the classroom, Seo Joon sat quietly in his seat, waiting for the teacher. Finally, class began, and Seo Joon began taking notes.

A FEW HOURS LATER…

Seo Joon opened the door to his apartment and entered. He quickly took off his uniform and changed into something more comfortable. Then, he lay down on his bed while checking his phone.

DING

Just then, his phone rang, pulling him out of his thoughts. He saw that the number was one he hadn't registered. Seo Joon raised an eyebrow; he had no idea who it was.

Unknown Number

Good afternoon, dear customer. This is from Sport Gym. The purpose of this message is to inform you that your monthly payment is still valid. Please come back soon!

Seeing this, Seo Joon looked sympathetic. The moment he saw the message, he remembered something like this had happened. To be honest, he had completely forgotten about it.

"Maybe I should stop by tomorrow," Seo Joon muttered.

At that moment, Seo Joon remembered something again.

He opened the system and saw the gold card shining with many colors, as if tempting him to use it.

Seeing this, Seo Joon's face became deeply thoughtful. "What should I do? Go or not?"
