Vladimir strode back into his office, his hands tucked into the pocket of his tailored suit pants.
He lowered himself onto the couch slowly, crossing his legs. His gaze was dark, his expression distant, deep in thought.
Kael entered the room silently, placing two cans of blood on the glass table before handing one to Vladimir.
"Are you still having doubts, young master?"
Vladimir didn't answer immediately.
He cracked open the can, the soft hiss slicing through the tense atmosphere.
"Did you check the CCTV footage?" he asked, voice stern.
"Yeah. We didn't find anything suspicious. The footage was tampered with, and whoever did it is clearly experienced," Kael replied calmly.
"Were you able to find any fingerprints on the girl's body or anywhere around the scene?" Vladimir asked again.
"We couldn't find any." Kael shook his head.
