Mei runs and releases Erika from Kage's grip.
Kage stares at Mei, his eyes filled with anger and resentment.
He pushes Mei, and she stumbles backwards about to fall.
However, someone catches her, breaking her fall.
Mei looks up to see a guy who has saved her from her impending doom.
His eyes are a warm, rich shade of brown that sparkles with kindness and compassion. His hair is a deep, dark brown colour that falls to his chin in soft, silky strands.
She notices that Kage and his friends flee upon the arrival of her saviour.
The guy asks,
"Are you alright?"
Mei smiles, still in shock.
"Yes, thanks for saving me."
The guy releases Mei from his grasp.
"Do you know who those boys are? If yes, then I can help put them to justice."
Mei stares at him, trying to place his face.
She looks at Erika, then back at him.
"I don't know who they are, but thanks for trying to help."
He asks politely.
"Ok then, but please don't mind, can I ask a question."
Mei nods
"Ok, go ahead."
He asks again.
"Do I know you? I mean, you look extremely familiar. Have I met you before?"
Mei thinks for a moment
"Umm… this is the first time we are meeting."
He replies.
"Oh ok then… umm… it's not safe . Can I drop you and your friend at home."
Mei points to the car.
"Oh, our car is over there, but thanks for your offer. I really appreciate it."
He smiles.
"My pleasure, I shall take my leave then."
He leaves.
Mei turns to Erika,
"Are you alright? I hope that degenerate didn't hurt you."
Erika snuffles
"All thanks to you, I am fine. I hope you didn't get hurt."
Mei replies.
"If not for that gentleman, I would have kissed the ground."
Erika asks.
"Well, do you know who he is?"
Mei smiles.
"I don't know who he is, but he is a good person."
Erika explains.
"Silly, you know The Trio I was talking about the other day?"
Mei nods.
"Yes."
Erika continues.
"He is a member of them, Choi Min-ho. I think they are heading to the airport it's not far from here you know."
Mei wonders
"It's really weird as both Asher and Min-ho said I look familiar could it be a coincidence."
Erika replies
"They may know you, I mean maybe they have seen you somewhere you are also in the same professional line with them maybe they've seen you somewhere but can't recall where they've seen you."
Mei responds.
"You might be right about that, you said. So, who is the third guy."
Erika smiles
"I would rather skip that question because anytime I talk about him I then to blush and if I have to bring up the third guy into this conversation we will talk about him forever so let's go home Mom must be waiting."
Mei agrees.
"Ok."
They pack the shopping bags on the floor and enter the car.
