One punch, one capture—Draconis had the Spirit King's core in his grasp.

It looked like a silver orb, soft and squishy, oddly satisfying to hold. The sensation was… familiar.

Wait. This was exactly how it felt when he curled up with Rias at night—hand wandering, finding her curves. Yeah, definitely a little evil.

Zatouji arrived, catching his breath. He murmured a few words to the Spirit King, then grinned. "Quick on the uptake, kid. You've passed its test. You can let go now."

Draconis released the little creature. Instantly, it floated back into the air, plump and round, before—pop!—sprouting a pair of tiny, silvery wings and flapping them with giddy excitement.

All around, the elemental spirits—be they humanoid or beast—dropped to their knees in reverence.

Rias and the others hurried over, marveling at the scene.

"No wonder it's called a Spirit King. The status is something else," Rias breathed.

"Absolutely. Among Familiars, a Spirit King might not appear in a thousand years. And a metal-type? Strongest combat power of them all. Kid, your luck is downright enviable!" Zatouji laughed, clapping Draconis on the shoulder.

Draconis smiled, grateful. "Thanks for the help, senior. I couldn't have done it without you."

"Ara ara, such a precious Familiar—don't waste any time, hurry and make the contract~" Akeno chimed in, eyes sparkling. "And we're dying to see what it can do. Give us a proper demonstration later."

"Will do."

Draconis had the contract magic memorized. He traced the formation, channeled his power, and the Spirit King zipped to the center, settling atop the glowing circle.

He recited the incantation. Light flared—the contract was sealed.

Instantly, Draconis felt his magic surge, pouring into the Spirit King at a breakneck pace.

Zatouji leaned in with a warning. "It's condensing its new form. Keep the magic flowing—don't let it break."

So, that's how it worked.

Draconis dropped into a meditative pose, focusing on recovery and maintaining the energy output.

Rias suggested heading back to the clubroom. It'd be quieter there. They bid Zatouji farewell, activated the teleportation circle, and returned to the human world, everyone gathering around Draconis, waiting for his Familiar's transformation.

Half an hour ticked by. Just as Draconis was running on empty, the silver Spirit King finally stopped draining him.

It wobbled into the air, wings fluttering, looking a bit tipsy. Then it spun, faster and faster, morphing from a sphere into a square, metallic seal—still with those tiny silver wings, making for a truly bizarre sight.

"A seal?" Rias echoed, curiosity piqued.

Everyone crowded around.

Draconis stood. The Spirit King, now a flying silver seal, zipped around him, flapping its wings with obvious delight.

"What's it do?" Rias asked, grinning.

Draconis was just as curious. He smiled at his new Familiar. "Go on, show off a little."

The seal obliged. A ripple of silver energy radiated out—instantly, the familiar anti-magic field snapped into place.

Of course. Anti-magic.

"My magic's been cut by at least sixty percent… That's seriously powerful," Akeno murmured, impressed.

Everyone buzzed with excitement. Once this Familiar grew, its effects would be even more outrageous.

"There's more, right?" Draconis prompted, sensing this little guy had more tricks up its sleeve.

Sure enough, the seal conjured a flurry of metallic blades, sending them streaking toward Rias and the others.

Rias didn't flinch—crimson fire erupted from her palm, Akeno countered with a bolt of golden lightning, and the blades shattered midair.

"Decent attack power," Rias noted, eyes twinkling.

But their show of force seemed to offend the seal. With a huff, it zipped forward, wings beating furiously, and in a flash, stamped each girl's thigh with a glowing, purple-red mark.

Draconis saw it clear as day—a stylized "正".

…What?

He blinked, but before anyone could react, the girls' magic was locked down. Their clothes gave a dramatic rip, exploding into shimmering fragments that dissolved into the air.

Everyone: "…"

Draconis: "…??"

He stared at the glowing "正" marks on their thighs, utterly speechless.

What on earth…?

"Eek!!" Asia yelped, dropping to a crouch, arms wrapped around herself, cheeks flaming.

"Ara ara…" Akeno's voice was a cocktail of surprise and amusement.

"So familiar…" Koneko hugged herself, golden eyes flicking to Draconis with silent accusation.

Rias planted a hand on her hip, giving Draconis a look equal parts exasperated and resigned. "And what exactly is this ability supposed to be?"

"…"

Draconis waved the seal Familiar over. It zipped back, wings fluttering proudly, darting around like a smug little bee.

Their minds were linked now—Draconis could feel the creature's self-satisfaction. He could only sigh, half-laughing, half-crying.

"This is its signature move. Right now, it can seal someone's magic for up to ten hours, or target up to ten people at once—but then the duration drops to an hour. For stronger opponents, the time gets even shorter."

"And our clothes…? Really, does this little guy have some kind of pervy streak?" Rias muttered.

"…Yeah," Draconis admitted, rubbing his temples. "It really does."

He'd figured it out the moment he saw those glowing tally marks on their thighs.

Staring at the purple-red stamps, Draconis could only sigh and cover his face.

Just his luck. Even his new Familiar turned out to be… not exactly proper.
