Chapter 109 - A European Surprise

The European sun cast a golden glow over the sprawling Raichand estate as Mukul, Anaya, and the cousins prepared their plan. After months of coordination and secret reconnaissance, the time had come to introduce Aria Ahir-Draven and her family to the extended Raichand–Malhotra household.

Meanwhile, in their temporary villa in Europe, the Draven family settled into their new environment. The children—Lyra, Selara, Darian, Kaelene, Arion, and Selina—marveled at the vast rooms, art-filled halls, and intricate security systems. Aria and Kaelen oversaw every detail, balancing excitement with cautious optimism, aware that this first visit would be pivotal.

Mukul gathered his cousins in the main planning hall, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "We're going to make this unforgettable. Our Raichand–Malhotra relatives haven't seen them before. Let's give them a moment they won't forget."

Arin, adjusting his spectacles, raised an eyebrow. "This will be… interesting. Their reactions will be priceless."

Rishika chuckled softly. "I can't wait to see the aunts' faces—especially Priya and Ishita."

By late afternoon, the Raichand–Malhotra family had been quietly summoned under the pretense of a routine meeting. Except for Avni, none suspected what awaited them. The grand European drawing room shimmered with crystal chandeliers as they took their seats, exchanging curious glances.

"Where are Mukul and the others?" Elena Malhotra whispered, sensing a mischief in the air.

Suhani Raichand leaned forward, her eyes narrowing playfully. "Knowing Mukul, it's bound to be something dramatic."

The double doors opened suddenly, and Mukul stepped forward, flanked by Anaya and the cousins. Behind them came Kaelen, Aria, Kaelen's children, and the full Draven family. The room fell silent.

Priya Malhotra gasped, clutching her hands together. "Is… is that Aria Ahir?"

Elena Malhotra's jaw dropped. "I… I didn't expect this."

Victor Moreau raised his eyebrows, incredulous. "So this is the family Mukul has been speaking of?"

Suhani Raichand blinked rapidly, holding back a laugh. "I had no idea… they look exactly like Mukul said… and yet—so many children?"

Meera Raichand's eyes glistened with emotion, a soft smile tugging at her lips. "Lyra and Selara… are they the ones Mukul mentioned?"

Tanvi Raichand stepped forward cautiously, examining each child with awe. "All of them… so talented, so poised. I can feel Mukul's influence already."

Ishita Raichand shook her head, half laughing, half emotional. "This… this is beyond what I imagined. I didn't expect the Dravens to arrive in such grandeur."

Sumitra Malhotra-Raichand, usually composed, seemed momentarily breathless. Her eyes followed Aria and Kaelen as they guided their children forward. "So… this is Mukul's extended family," she whispered to herself. "And they are… extraordinary."

Mukul finally stepped forward. "Everyone, meet Aria Ahir-Draven, Kaelen Draven, and their children. They're now part of our family's broader mission and circle. I thought it was time for introductions, and perhaps… a few surprises."

A soft murmur of astonishment and excitement spread through the room. Priya's hands flew to her mouth. Elena blinked rapidly, her voice barely audible: "I… I can't believe it."

Victor Moreau finally found words. "Well… Mukul, you certainly outdid yourself. I… we didn't see this coming."

Suhani laughed, tears forming in her eyes. "This is perfect. I can already see all the connections, all the bonds forming."

Arin whispered to Rishika, "This is going to change everything—dynamics, alliances… the entire household."

The Draven children, slightly overwhelmed, peeked up at Aria and Kaelen. Aria whispered, "Stay calm. They're your new extended family, but they mean no harm."

Kaelen added with a grin, "And they're just as curious about you as you are about them."

As the initial shock settled into awe and warm excitement, Mukul caught Aria's eye. She gave a small nod of gratitude, understanding the delicate balance of revealing the Dravens carefully while creating a meaningful first impression.

The room buzzed with whispered conversations, questions, and laughter. Every aunt, uncle, and cousin shared glances of admiration and intrigue, their minds racing to process the newcomers—the Draven children and their parents. The surprise had worked exactly as intended: the Raichand–Malhotra family was stunned, delighted, and wholly captivated by the Dravens' presence.

And somewhere in the back, Mukul allowed himself a small, satisfied smile. The foundations of a united, multi-generational family—and empire—were finally taking shape.
