Chapter 107 - Weaving Families, Weaving Empires

The night after Astra—Aria—revealed her truth, the Draven estate became a quiet haven of thought. Mukul, Anaya, and Aria gathered in the study, its tall windows glowing with moonlight. The weight of their reunion was still raw, yet Mukul knew sentiment alone could not shield them from the world outside.

He leaned forward, fingers steepled, his gaze sharp. "We don't have the luxury of time. If we're truly going to unite as one family, we need to do it in a way that strengthens us all. And that means bringing the Draven family closer—to Europe, where the Raichands and Malhotras can protect and empower them."

Anaya nodded, her voice steady. "Distance is dangerous. Every mile between us is a weakness the rivals will exploit. If Darveen's family shifts their operations to Europe, we can shield them, train them, and help expand their influence."

Aria's heart clenched. The idea of uprooting her children and husband weighed on her. She looked at Kaelen, who stood quietly behind her, his hand resting on her shoulder. "It would be a risk," she whispered. "Their life here… everything we built."

Kaelen's voice was calm but firm. "Home is not walls, Aria. Home is where we are together—and where our children are safe. If Europe is where we must stand, then we stand there."

Mukul's eyes softened, gratitude flickering in them. "Kaelen, your words carry the same resolve I feel. I promise, this isn't just about protection. With Raichand resources, Malhotra strategy, and Draven strength, we can create an empire that rivals no other."

It was then that Darveen, the head of the Draven family, entered the room with his wife and the older children. His voice was measured, though his sharp eyes betrayed deep thought. "I have been listening. You speak of unity and empire, Mukul Sharma. But you ask me to uproot everything my family has built here. Tell me—why should I trust this vision?"

Mukul rose to his feet. His tone was not commanding, but resolute. "Because you are not just allies anymore. You are blood, bound to us by Aria. That makes your family ours. And I will never allow my own blood to stand isolated while enemies close in."

Anaya stepped forward, adding, "We're not asking you to abandon what you've built. We're offering to amplify it. In Europe, the Raichand family will give you infrastructure, networks, and protection. My brother and I will ensure your legacy doesn't just survive—it expands across continents."

Silence followed. The Draven children exchanged glances, weighing the possibility of a new life in a new land. Lyra and Selara, already perceptive, seemed to lean toward agreement. Darian crossed his arms, skeptical but listening. Kaelene and Arion looked to their mother for cues.

Finally, Aria turned to her father-in-law, her voice trembling but strong. "Father… I cannot deny who I am anymore. I cannot live divided between two worlds. If we stay here, danger will come for us—danger we may not withstand alone. But if we move, if we unite with my siblings, we gain more than safety. We gain a future worthy of our children."

Darveen studied her, then shifted his gaze to Kaelen, who nodded with quiet conviction. His eyes returned to Mukul. "And the Raichands? They will honor this union? They will not treat us as outsiders?"

Mukul's lips curved into a faint smile. "They will treat you as family. I will make sure of it. Already, Avni and the others are preparing to help establish your empire's foundation in Europe. You will not arrive as strangers—you will arrive as kin."

For the first time, Darveen's stern features softened. He extended his hand across the table toward Mukul. "Then let it be so. The Dravens will move to Europe. But this alliance must be built on mutual respect, not dominance. If we stand as one, we rise as one."

Mukul clasped his hand firmly. "Agreed. Together, we will build something the world has never seen."

Aria exhaled, a weight lifting from her heart. She looked at her children, who now had the chance to grow in a wider world, surrounded by a family she once thought lost forever.

For the first time in decades, the Raichand, Malhotra, and Draven legacies began to braid together—not as separate threads, but as a tapestry of power, unity, and blood.
